RB button, faulty?

So I've only had my console for less than 3 months and already the controller is playing up. The RB button kinda has a mind of it's own everytime I switch on the console. It makes it impossible to sign in nevermind playing games, because the button is always
constantly activated. The actual button isn't stuck, I've even had someone take it apart and reassemble it but no luck. I'd rather not have to pay another £50 for a new controller. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it?

RB button broke

xbox 1 's only bought Xmas 2017 came with controller but the RB button does not work all the time it's frustrating as it's new !! Seems be a common fault which has not been dealt with. How do I get a replacement I'm not buying a new 1 this 3 weeks old

 

RB Button dysfonctionning

My RB Button got a problem, it sometimes not make the action when i press the button, it has appeared recently. I were wondering if there were a way to repair the button ? I can't find a proper solution.

 

Get it replaced. Controllers have a 90 day warranty.

For the controller that was redesigned to replace the 360 controller, it sure is having its share of problems.

A warranty which would be voided if it was taken apart and reassembled... which OP stated it was.

Of course, OP could still try to get it replaced... maybe they wouldn't notice. But it baffles me as to why someone wouldn't check into the warranty in the first place when it's
been less than 3 months, as opposed to just having someone tear it apart and put it back together in the hopes of fixing something.

 

Actually to get a replacement was the first idea but since I lost the receipt before it broke I can't.

 

Might as well buy a New one OP.

I am truly sorry to hear about the controller issue! Unfortunately your controller will not be eligible for a warranty replacement, as self-repair will void your controllers warranty and you will most likely need to replace your controller. In the future,
