Razer Nari Ultimate with Xbox Elite Controller firmware needs to be updated

So I have recently been experiencing this problem with my razer nari ultimate headset not functioning with the xbox elite controller, and other people have said that the firmware on the elite controller simply needs to be updated in order to function with
it. Xbox should release a fix for it, as my only option is to have my other controller sitting next to me with the headset plugged into that one. I mainly game on PC, but when I do game on xbox, I should be able to use my headset on my expensive controller
rather than jerry rigging it just to use the damn thing.

I sent my controller to xbox to get a replacement as I thought that the jack was broken itself, and I thank them greatly for sending me a replacement device with no hassle, but I feel like there should be some fix for that problem, as I have seen other people
experience it.

Hi AlexNoveNoisy,

Do you have the Nari Ultimate for Xbox or just the normal Nari Ultimate? they are Two different products and the latter is only compatible using 3.55mm headphone jack.

I have found a link to the Xbox Razer Nari support but ultimately if this dont work you will need to contact Razer support as it could be a Razer issue and not an Xbox issue.

look for the update directly from your xbox but you must connect via usb the control to download the updates, although you should look for information about the headphones since the problem may be theirs and not the control, check if the headphones are
fully compatible

There is an app on xbox console/windows 10 called xbox accessories that allows you to search for firmware updates for your controller. When you open the app, there is an (...) option. Press that and you should see the firmware update on the top left
of your screen if there is a applicable update.

Again, I have tried updating it, wired, wireless (newer controllers can be updated wirelessly), with the headset plugged in and unplugged, and nothing works. Also after recieving my replacement controller, my headset has seemed to stop working. I am thinking
it is the fault of the headset, but my replacement controller is having issues staying on with new batteries. A previous post on here said an old adapter would fix the problems, and if that is so, I would think it would be the controller having to support
the headset, not the headset supporting the controller, as it works fine on a normal wireless controller.

I have done this multiple times, wired to the xbox, with the headset plugged in. All it does is say that the firmware is up to date.
