To add to this answer while I understand you are thinking about buying the USB version of this headset and if you're using it on a PC I could see the draw. If you were to purchase the 3.5mm version then according to the Razer support page for the 3.55mm
version:

A little of a work around for party chats, if you are trying to talk to friends in a party you can connect your USB headset and use the party feature in the Xbox App on the PC, I know this is only a partial solution So they make two versions of this headset,
one for consoles and one for PC, you may be able to exchange this
