    Razer Carcharias Mic Volume Really Low?


    Hey, first off I'd like to apologize if this is in the wrong section; first time posting.

    I bought a pair of Razer Carcharias off Ebay and when I use them on my computer (skype more specifically) the mic works perfectly fine and my friends can hear me perfectly. But when I plug them into my Dolby Surround Sound Processor (DSS2) box and try talking
    into it, it either doesnt pick up my voice or it's extremely quiet to where no one can hear me. I have all the possible volume "things" (sorry cant think of the name) up to the max (Bass, Voice, and Audio) and it still isnt working.

    When I go to System > Console Settings > Audio > Digital Output - I've tried all the things listed (Digital Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital with WMA Pro) and none of them change anything.

    I've also gone to Preferences > Voice > Voice Volume 10 and Game Volume 10 just to be safe but nothing I do is working. Also I have now bought 2 talkback cables and the same thing happens with both so I cant see it being the talkback cable.

    Anyone know what is wrong?

    Does anyone know if I would be able to use the Razer Carcharias Headset with the xbox one? I am looking to purchase these but can't seem to find an answer anywhere?

    Sorry for the. very. very late post. i'v been using them for a while on xbox one. they are good. but theres alot of static when you turn it up via the headset and the sound is really low, even when turning it up on the adapter. im not sure if theres a way
    to fix this but, it is what it is. I don't know if its doing it because its being powered by my 360. but its the only option i have.

    Also, if possible. can anyone recommend a headset that will work on the PC,, 360 and One and sure that theres no static on any of them?

    Sorry seeing this super late but YES I did it and it works for both my PC and Xbox1. just use the adapter, you will have to update your controller though but it works great.
