Rayman Legends for $59.99! You've got to be kidding me!

I agree with the OP the cost on these wannabe AAA titles are redonkulous, just like Zoo Tycoon isnt worth $60 neither is this one...

 

I find it ironic that MS was the 1 who perpetrated the idea of "arcade" games in the 1st place & because of their success it has made a stigma out of it now that they're doing away with it. The price has always been based around the quality of the game,
not whether it was an arcade game or not - even with the arcade games on the Xbox 360, the better ones were almost always more expensive. I've played Rayman Legends & it is definitely a AAA title worth the price. Besides, just because it's been out for a while
doesn't mean it should be cheap. They've re-released plenty of games at full prices in the past - this is no different.

 

Ha GG, just because it's been out a while, doesn't mean it should be cheap. On specific games i could agree with you. But this is Rayman legends we are talking about. Just because they are releasing it for Next Gen, Does not mean they should charge full
price for it now. It just turns away customers.

Also these older versions on both consoles run at 1080p 60fps, so what are you gaining by it. Nothing. Go for the cheaper option and have the same quality, same game.

Especially when games like FFX / X2. is $39.96 (£24.99) And you are technically getting 2 AAA games for that price. And Fable Anniversary (even with it's serious frame drop issues) is only $37.51 (£29.99 on Xbox.com) and that is another AAA game.

This game is another reason to rip people of who want to go all digital. And it does not matter which console you are on, they are all doing it.

And this again is another reason why Digital will not prevail until we see price disparity.

 

Hmm, I thought Zoo Tycoon was definitely worth my $60. I've spent ~30 hours playing that game. To the OP and others, I'm glad they sorted it out. I don't have a problem w/ a slight price differential, but that was a bit much.

 

The price of Zoo Tycoon on the gamestore is what stopping me from buying it. Would be all over it if it was cheaper.

 

$59.99 really, i see it for 39.99 on the psn store, haven't checked xbox live market place but one would think it would be the same price
