Rayman Legends for $59.99! You've got to be kidding me!

I guess that pledge for competitive digital pricing was rather short-lived. The hardcopy has been priced at $39.99 at Amazon.com for months now, and that's the "regular price" (i.e. not discounted).

Microsoft, I want to support you and your store, but this just reeks of corporate greed / exploitation of customers. Remember, games come first and if you're not going to provide a reasonable path to buying and enjoying games then you're going to lose customers.

2 Player Free Roam Games for Xbox 360

Me and my girlfriend like to play Castle Crashers, Rayman Origins, Rayman legends and Portal 2

 

Wow, just wow. First of all, they only announced a price drop temporarily for Ryse, and that was the only discounted game. Second, If you are talking about Xbox One, the game was released TODAY. Sounds like you are just greedy and want everything handed
to you for free.

 

Arcade games should not be priced so expensive. No matter if are digital or not.

 

There are no arcade games on Xbox One, games are games. Also Rayman Legends is NOT arcade. It is a full AAA title.

 

I think the MSRP on RL was changed to $39.99 after originally being announced at $59.99 for XB1 and PS4. I believe the Xbox Store pricing is a mistake.

 

There are no section for arcade games but some of them are still that . Lococycle, Crimson Dragon etc{ i know they were priced for less)...is just a way to tag the $60 price in future games that are supposed to be arcade .

 

But not via that margin they shouldn't be - A $20 price difference is what is stopping Digital from being a sensible option. The game was released on other platform 6 months ago.

It just goes to show how in the US, people get stiffed for their games, it is like there is no serious competition. Here Rayman Legends is £27 but you can get the xbox 360 version for £17. The same game for £10 less. Where-as in the US the X1 version is
$39.99 and the Xbox 360 version is still $38.20. And as people don't care about resolution and FPS. That shouldn't matter. Go for the cheapest option.

Nobody who is sensible with money would buy the same game for $20 more just because they don't have to swap a disc.

 

It's only $39.99 at Gamestop. I just started playing it today.

I have called support, messaged Major Nelson, and still have not figured anything out. I am in the same boat. Gamestop and all the other stores are selling it for 39.99$ but Microsoft store is 59.99$. This is the same with Plants VS. Zombies, next
week. I just pulled all my pre-orders from Gamestop to go fully digital, and this is the first thing I get hit with. 20$ difference is a lot, especially when for 20$ cheaper I can trade it in if I don't like it.

Wont be buying this from the store than.

If they want people to go digital the price should at least be the same!
