Ray Tracing Factory Error Xbox Series X

Hi,

Ray Tracing is on a per-game basis on both the Series S and the Series X. Some games have it, some do not. If a game has Ray Tracing it will normally be in it's options menu. Some games such as Watch Dogs Legion have ray tracing enabled by default.

Unlike Series X, the S model does not have RT for some games that the Series X has.

Thanks for the quick response, I already tried the methods mentioned above and no luck. I'm 100% it's Ray tracing as for the games that I can actívate it and deactivated the issue its resolved instantly. My Xbox series x it's a launch Xbox and I read some had cpu problems regarding rtx. I tried with customer support with Xbox but got transferred over and over with no resolution. My last resort it's to send the Xbox to microsoft Gor it to be repaired. Thanks again for your time.

Well, my friend, as you said, there are only a few games that has an option to choose to enable or disable ray tracing. Other games have options to choose between "Performance" or "Quality" (so "Performance" usually disable ray tracing).

If the games you're playing doesn't have the options to choose between performance or quality, or doesn't offer a direct setting to change ray tracing or graphic settings in general, it can't be done. Some games doesn't even have a "graphic settings" menu.

But did you test and are completely sure that the ray tracing feature is causing you trouble?

You can try physically resetting your display options to see if it gets better.

If there's a disc in the console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console. Unplug all cables from it, wait for 5 minutes and plug again.

Then, press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To change this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown. Try with lower resolutions and see if there's any improvement.

Ok so only certain games will have ray tracing? Do you know if any games that were on the xbox one will be capable of it on the series s/x? Also I’ve seen videos showing the series X’s ray tracing abilities and they used minecraft as an example. Do you now
if this is real and if minecraft will support ray tracing or is this unconfirmed?

One of the main reasons I plan on buying one of the new consoles is for the ray tracing abilities (especially on minecraft)
