Rattling noise on my New Xbox one x

I bought an xbox one x a week ago and everything seemed to work fine for the first three days, after that i noticed some rattling noise coming out of the right side of my console where the fan is located, this seems to happen when i play games such as:
Cruisine Royale, Project cars 2, and Fortnite. Not sure if this is normal or is something that could harm my console, if you read this please let me know as soon as possible please.

I do understand where you're coming from, but Xbox pride themselves with their technology and would want all their consumers to enjoy their products. My concern here is if the situation gets worse over time. If you
have the flexibility at this present time it would be a lot easier to deal with the situation at hand and return it. If you still have the receipt and you brought it from a store like Tesco, I guess you will still be within date to return the item, so its
worth doing. This way its safer in the long run!

Make sure you keep the reciept safe as it is more than likely that a screw or something else has come loose and causing a rattling noise inside.

Explain the situation to the retailer you bought it off and ask to either exchange the console for a new one or a full refund, as you don't want to damage the console any more by using it whilst it's damaged.

I would be returning the console if it was me, it shouldnt be rattling, it could be a loose fan or loose bearings in a fan,

The Xbox One X has an automatic temperature regulation system.

If you are running games that don't require much processing power (i.e. games NOT Enhanced for X, or games that don't require much processing power in general), the fans might not be active at all, as the console keeps cool enough with the vapor chamber
and heatsink alone.

However, if more processing power is used, and the chips generate more heat, the fans will blow more air through the console.

So if you have a faulty fan, it might only rattle when the console really requires that much air.

So don't wait until your warranty has passed. Either return the console to the retailer or sign it up for a warranty repair/replacement through

The thing is it only happens when im playing heavy games, after that if i stop playing these type of games it stops, and only happens on certain games. I tried to see if it happened on MK11 and it doesn’t the rattling noise isn’t loud and you can only
hear it when you put your ear close to where it comes from.
