    Rattling noise coming from my 1 TB Xbox One.


    Wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if anyone has any idea on what could be wrong/broken inside the console. It's not shaking the Xbox, but it's a loud, rattling noise. When I first turn on the console, it is very quiet but as I start to
    play a game, it becomes loud and annoying. Xbox Support said I should take it back to GameStop and exchange it but I wanted to know if anyone has any idea what is making this annoying noise. Thanks

    "Silent Xbox one" weird noises

    It's a high pitched buzzing / rattling noise coming from inside the console

    (No disc inside)

    That is how my Xbox One X sounds. Is it normal?

    At least for my own Xbox One X, it should make a continuous "whoosh" noise when the fan spins up. Depending on the game, it can be relatively quiet, or jumping up and down in speed, or remain somewhat high.

    I saw your video, but I didn't hear any rattling in particular. Do you hear the same noise when the Xbox is placed on different surfaces? I'm wondering if the rattling you hear might be coming from other loose things sitting on your desk?

    i have the call of duty 1TB xbox IT IS VERY LOUD when i have a game going or when the game is on in dashboard background

    when im doing anything else besides having a game open it is QUIET an can't hear anything

    im returning it for a diff one since i cant stand the noise not sure if i should just get a diff one

    i have the call of duty 1TB xbox IT IS VERY LOUD when i have a game going or when the game is on in dashboard background

    Xbox One S - Weird noise?

    Hi - I recently bought and Xbox one S and can confirm mine is making the same noise- seems to be coming from the fan/fan bearing.

    Looking on the web, a few people that have bought a One S recently appear to have 'rattling' fans. People appear to say its not normal however.

    I'm going to try to take mine back to the shop I bought it from to see if they will exchange it for another one.
