Ratings are shown in duplicate on Xbox 360 Games store

When I browse the Xbox 360 game store on my fully updated console, every game seems to have the games Ratings shown in duplicate. This issue has been present for at least a year now, no changes in the updates have fixed this. I will post a picture of
this.

Am I the only one with this issue?

First: what consoles are you talking about? Xbox 360? Xbox One?

For the Xbox One, all digital purchases on your account are automatically shown in the "Ready to Install" list in "My Games & Apps". However, Xbox 360 games are only available if they are currently on the backward
compatibility list.

 

Xbox Live game rating system is laughable

Your unhappiness with the XBox 360 rating system stems from your mis-understanding of it.



The ratings are the product of XBox LIVE member feedback and you don't even need to own or have played the game to provide a rating.



In fact... even if a game is bad you can still give it a good rating, and conversely if a game is great but you hold some grudge against it... you can give it a low score.



Now that you are aware of this you should have a better understanding of how poor games may still enjoy high ratings on the XBox 360 dashboard.

I cannot figure out how too upload a picture from my pc, it just will not work, keeps saying that the file extension was wrong, or there was an error, even though it is the right size in pixels and it is either a jpg or png file format, confused.

Hey, GigaByte69! Sorry that no one has got to you in all this time. I would really appreciate the picture, because I seem to be unable to reproduce what you're seeing. If you could, please post up the exact steps that you do to create this, too. You can
post an image up onto OneDrive and post the public link on here.

That is really weird, dude. I definitely don't see that on my side of things with the game details. Can you tell me which region you're located in?

Does it show up on other profiles on the console? Additionally, have you moved your profile to another console and is it still showing like that on the other one?

 

No I have not moved my profile to another console as I only have one console (360) here, my profile on my Xbox one is fine. I live in Canada. I am the sole console user, I will try making another profile later, I am on my way out at the moment.

It's been a couple days, Giga. Were you able to make another profile to see if that worked for you?

 

no luck, made new profile, I cannot sign in to this profile with my Microsoft account though for some reason, I thought that gold memberships were good for all account on the machine ? but anyways, still has the same issue in the store browsing the games.
The games ratings are still shown in duplicate.

 

Gold memberships are only good for all accounts on the Xbox One, not the 360, currently.

This is by far the weirdest thing I've ever seen, so we're going to try some basic troubleshooting first.

Let's do these steps in this order:

• Delete your profile ONLY
• Clear your system cache three times
• Power cycle your console with the power supply unplugged for 5 minutes
• Download your profile

Let me know if that works out for you. If not, post back what kind of 360 you have (Elite, 360 S, 360 E) and the type of storage you have (4GB internal, fat drive on the Elite, or the slim drive). Maybe that will help me narrow this down.
