Rare Car Disappeared From Garage

I had the 'Duke of Death' car, pretty much the most **** car in the game, parked in the garage at Trevor's shack ever since I found it. I just completed the main story mission "Monkey Business", and now Trevor's garage is empty.

Does this car ever spawn again? Will it reappear back? If not, should I reload my save, redo the mission and pray for that beast of a car to still be there?

(For certain players, I believe this is one of the items Rockstar added to the Xbox One, and one of the perks if you previously played GTA V on the 360.)

Mors Mutual Insurance wont give me my car back >.<

Also what really grinds my gears is when my garage is full and I find a rare car and have to replace a car instead of selling a car. Cause even if you park the rare car somewhere and go to garage and sell a car then the rare car vanishes. Unless you have
a friend or crew member hop in the rare car to hang onto it so it doesn't vanish.

Update errors

So my Rat loader was stripped from my garage after the update. I checked the spot where I got it from and it still spawns there. Did it get downgraded to a no garage car? Or is this just another glitch. I never used it anyway it was just really cool and
considered a rare car. Im ok with it, get me something new.

I literally just found a BF Blifta on the beach. I've never seen one , nor did I know they existed, so I figured it was rare. I went and customized it then parked it in Michael's home garage. Immediately after that I drove to the car impound to see what
got lost and stored there. It says one of the vehicles in the impondis a Blifta. I payed to get the car out and it was literally the same exact ride. Down to every customization detail.

Can anyone help with my car issues?

To OP. In story mode the characters garages cannot be trusted. The only ones that save a car for sure is the storage garages that you pay for. Yes the Duke Of Death is still around. More than likely its not in the same spot as you found it last time. It
seems randomly placed. We need this car for online. It is pretty beast.

The whole car disappearing seems to happen when ever I complete a story mission and go back to use the car and it was gone. so I didn't buy another cheetah until after I've completed the game. I dont leave the car in their house garages, i leave it in the
garages in the streets, the one where you can store multiple cars in. And I turn auto save off. I manually save it once I know for sure that I parked the car in the garage, then I save and turn the game off. None of my cars have disappeared since doing this.
Since I manually saved it, if the car does disappear, I know I can go back to the save where I last had it at.
