  1. Rapid Recurring Disconnects, Situational?

^What it says on the tin. I'm experiencing disconnects in rapid sequence of each other, however I can reconnect in short order each time, with no errors, and appear to stay connected until re-entering a party with a group of people. This is a recurring thing,
and not linked to a game (occurs on dashboard) and does not occur in other parties, with other people.

Is it possible for my connection to someone else to be so unstable and toxic it knocks me entirely off xbox live? If not, what else could be happening here? Since I have a consistently stable connection and have for ages, with nothing changing, it's unlikely
to be much else I can come up with. Individual game problems are ruled out due to it occurring on the dashboard as well, it's not a net connection hiccup as my pc and everything else stays connected (both it and the 360 are running a wired connection to the
same source), and doesn't appear to happen after reconnecting to live until after I rejoin whatever party this group of people were in.

Resetting the system doesn't appear to solve the problem.

    :)

    Recurring charges

Hi, it isnt a direct debit. the payment is coming from a debit card. (which actually expired!) so there is no option to cancel a direct debit. My bank informed me to contact the vendor in the first instance.

What is worrying is that my billing history shows no mention of this payment or any other being made against my account. I dont know about the console as it broke some time ago and i have no desire to pay for it to be fixed.

    Recurring membership

    Hi there,

you can't remove a payment option unless you replace it with a new one.

Only Xbox Support can remove a payment option if you don't want to replace it.

Like mentioned turning auto renewall off is the thing to do when you dont want to recur every month.

    -

I have to agree with Smwutches that the easiest way would be a prepaid card.

What is the make and model number of your router and modem?

With this information it will be easier for someone to help you

Yes, I am aware there have been issues with this one (I went through my teething problems with it previously), but those are resolved by either routing through a second router as a bridge (which causes latency unacceptable for most gaming, not the option
I'm using), or running it through a wired connection (which solves it's 'drop you from xbox live at random moments' problem). I'm familiar with the problems it presented before, and this isn't the same behavior. (It's far more frequent, but happens only under
    specific circumstances)

  6. I have the same modem and I've been experiencing the same problems. I did the recommended troubleshooting and settings adjustments when I first installed the modem and things were fine until three weeks ago, around the time where the issues with downloads
    and app interruptions started.

Mine started around March 5th. It doesn't have anything to do with a router or ISPS considering people from around the world are having the same issue. This has something to do with Live and support is being useless right now, essentially blaming us for
things that are wrong on their end.

I'm also still having this problem. It cleared up for a couple of days following the COD maintenance posted on the service status page was completed but the problem is back.

Does anybody at Microsoft read these forums? I thought I had seen a long list of users that are associated with MS somehow but they aren't contributing anything in these forums discussing this issue. At least not that I've seen.
