Ranked Matches - Poorly matching

I am Continuously Matched with people that are 15 ranks below me and almost never matched with people in my rank range why does this keep happening?? i literally can not rank up because of this have like 56 wins and 12 losses and thanks to all those losses
i people have taken my rank

Ranked Match Quitters

I little rant, as I have been playing score duel for over 2 hours this evening and only managed to score 2 wins. Not because I was rubbish, but because everytime, bar 2 exceptions, my opponent quit before the end. I lost about 5 matches, and not once did I even think about quitting out during those.

I cannot believe that the game does not punish a quitter with a defeat, and award the win to the player left in the game -- it's just crazy. I must have played 20-30 matches by the end, I have never left so much negative feedback in the entire time I've owned my 360, after the first 3 or 4 quits I decided to give negative feedback to everyone else who quit after that. Lot of good it did though, as I saw a few of the quitters 2 or 3 times despite having already "avoided" them

Is there any news on a patch to address this, or is it a case of wait for RB2 and hope they have a better system in place for that?

 

Ranked Match Quitters

Perhaps people are fed up with all the quitters so not playing it online. I'm already contemplating whether I can be bothered to play it online anymore .. I do enjoy the competitive modes, and always relish the challenge of unlocking an achievement, but it's so frustrating at the moment -- reminds me of my experience playing GoW at the start, I really enjoyed the game, but the other people completely ruined the fun in multiplayer and it went on the shelf to gather dust.

 

I totally feel your pain. I hate playing people several ranks lower than me. Yeah I might beat most of them, but hell you get a really good player several ranks below you, and BAM you lose literally all the XP you got from your 12 victories. OR in my case,
you get desynced lose two to three of those matches and get deranked. I MUCH rather play people at my rank or above. I wish you could simply screen Ranked matches like you can in Exhibition. Why on earth it wasn't designed like that is beyond me.

Another issue I have is that I don't learn anything from utterly destroying a poor defenseless Button Masher. I might try some more ballsy moves, but in the end they get an embarrassing defeat and I get nothing in return.

 

I have the opposite issue - it keeps matching me with players of 10+ ranks higher during rank up & rank down matches. I understand the need for a challenge, but that's overkill. In addition, having that occur sets players up to fail.

 

Im with galactic geek im rank two anyone i play just quits the match and i end up in jail. I don't care if i lose just stay the whole match
