    I have been off of Gears of war 3 for about 3 weeks and when I got back on my rank went from the level 100 first re-up to a level 11 no re-up. I have lost my Rank and my weapon skins and characters.

    Win and rank up, lose and rank down. Beat better players (higher rank than you) and rank up a bit faster OR lose to lower ranked people than you and youll rank down faster.

    Don't like COD's ranking system, or the whole progressive ranking thing. Good players should be ranked higher, bad players ranked lower.

    Halo 3 was a great system. Had your rank for ranked matches and rank for social matches. Halo 2 also featured a great ranking system.
