Randomly unable to connect to Xbox Live (internet error)

Ok, so this problem has been happening for nearly 2 weeks now, but before that i have never seen this before. My Xbox will now only sometimes connect to xbox live, when i do a network test it shows internet error, but i have no problems connecting
any other devices (iphone,ipad,ps3,pc,3ds), i have tried EVERY solution on the support pages for both wired and wireless connection as i can connect either way, with no success, the most annoying thing about this problem is that whilt i cannot figure out for
the the life of me what might be causing this problem it seems to just randomly fix itself, so my only solution is to just wait until it decides to work again. here are the details that you requested

What Country/State/Province do you live in? - Australia

Modem brand & model number: Technicolour TG757n v3 (Supplied by ISP)

Router brand & model number: N/A

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? N/A (lets assume i am using wired for this, as i can do either one)

Things you have tried: Everything listed on the support page for both connection types

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown -YES

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? - No NAT Error/Open NAT

Any Error Codes you encounter: 80151909 (this one relates to downloading profile, which i am not even trying to do, so i fail to see how this even makes sense, let alone being relevent to the problem)

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Telstra

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

i would appreciate any assistance with this because this is annoying as hell, nearly half of my month of xbox live gold i purchased has been wasted due to this problem, especially given the fact that the only fix i have able to find is just try
it tomorrow and see if it works then, i will save the rant for now because it isnt going to fix anything but believe me when i say it is a big one, i just dont want my money to be wasted buying xbox live gold only to be unable to use it half the time, everything
else is secondary to me

Please help, randomly disconnect from xbox live.

Okay so I guess awhile back now my connection was fine in every way. I never lagged unless something was being downloaded and i could always connect to live. but now my xbox likes to randomly disconnect me from live and not let me connect for 15 minutes
or more, then i can connect to live after awhile, that is until it randomly disconnects me again. It is not my internet or router or modem because when i go to test my connection it says that i can connect to my router and my router can connect to the internet
but the internet cant connect to live. so what does that mean, cause i know its not my internet or the xbox live servers being down, its just my xbox that randomly disconnects from live whenever it feels like it for 15 minutes or so. and again i can connect
to my router and my router can connect to internet but internet cant connect to live when i test connection!

 

Unable to connect to ea servers

I randomly get error message that i am unable to connect to the ea servers. i am attemping to play madden 2010..any clues

well i thought everything pretty much said it all but ok...

i have reset both wired and wireless settings to factory default, cleared system cache, tried deleting and redownloading profile, deleting system update and redownloading it, tried resetting my modem many many times, checked my cables (which all work on
my pc), checked for MAC filtering (was not problem, added it to the authorized lit but didnt change anything), i have now turned MAC filter off (still no change), there is no problem with my internet, it works on other devices at the same time i am trying
to connect to live, no network problem as it finds the network, and i can connect to my laptop via network to watch tv shows and whatnot, i tried to create an ad-hoc network seeing as i could connect to my laptop but that also didnt work, i tried changing
to google public dns even though it wasnt saying dns error, doing that created that error though so i reverted that, it is important that you know that sometimes it does work without me changing any settings or doing anything differently, i fail to see how
it could be some setting causing this problem if it sometimes does work without me doing anything different, i am fairly tech-savvy and can usually troubleshoot my own problems but i am no expert and this is way too much for me to fix on my own, as far as
i can tell, my xbox just decides for itself if it wants to work or not on any given day, it hasnt worked for me at all today but yesterday i had no problems at all, whereas the day before that it was unusable like today, now that just doesnt make any sense
at all to me.

 

Have you tried buying resetting the router, removing ALL devices from the network and then trying to connect your console solely? Give that a shot and when you start your Xbox, run the network troubleshooter again. Let us know how it goes!
