    i have had nothing but problems with multiple xbox ones. My current xbone is now randomly turning itself on. My kinnect is unplugged and put away. No kids or animals near the power button. The controller remains off when this occurs. It
    is not connected to a ks8000 as I've read some theories about that. My xbone gets shutdown not put into suspend mode.

    This gen of xbox has been super disappointing and because of all the problems I've had, i bought a ps4 pro. So far, not one problem with that console.

    Are there any actual answers to this besides trashing this thing and giving up on MS completely?

    new xbox 250gb disc tray opens and closes randomly by itself.

    my new xbox 250gb console keeps turning itself on and ejecting tray randomly by itself. anyone else having same problem? please any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Turning On By Itself

    Try changing the power mode in Settings from Instant-On to
    Energy Saving     or vice-versa and see what happens.

    Sounds like you've gone down the line of possibilities for your Xbox One turning off and on. So that we can best help out, can you clarify if your Xbox One is connected to a Power Supply/Surge Protector? If so, please try connecting directly to a wall outlet
    to see if there's any change.

    My 250GB Slim keeps turning itself off every 5 - 10 minutes.

    Hi I'm having the exact same problem as the OP. My Xbox "dings" when it turns on/off and it's also randomly turning itself on.
