Randomly gone from Gold membership to Silver.

I've been playing Titanfall all evening and I've had no problems, but I've just turned on my Xbox 360 and it says I'm a silver member, even though my Gold isn't meant to run out for another few days and I have it set to auto renewal anyway. I figured maybe
Microsoft tried to take my money for Gold and there was a problem with the payment for some reason, so I checked my bank account and I have enough money. I Tried to renew my Gold, but it won't even let me do that.

Anyone else having problems?

Problem with Xbox live gold tenure/year counter

Alright, my Xbox live gold membership expired a few days ago so it went from gold to silver. I bought a prepaid gold card and after redeeming it I noticed that the year counter/ gold tenure # is gone and reset to 0. What's going on?

 

Do you need Xbox Live to play Minecraft?

Yep. Silver is free. All you do is sign up with Xbox Live (either from your console or Xbox.com) fill in your details, gamertag etc. And then you are automatically Silver.

Gold memberships add online play, certain demos that are only available to Gold subscribers, and that's really it. If you want to play Minecraft with people online, then you need Gold, but if you want to play it by yourself or split-screen with somebody next to you, you can also do that on Silver.

 

Had to use a 7 day free trial I got with Call of Duty: Ghosts.

 

You're probably better off calling Xbox Support since they can help with your billing issues. Most of us here can't...Sorry.

Probably a good idea to call support.

I had something like this happen a few years ago and it was a pain in the *** to get resolved lol.

I dont mess with that auto renewal crap anymore.

Most look gold again now though.
