Randomly disconnecting from Xbox Live

Yes so far I haven't disconnected I would usually disconnect a minute within a game. I will give you that information if I disconnect again, hopefully I don't though.

I eventually disconnected . Can't find a model name/number for my netgear router but found a model name for my xfinity modem its: TC8305C

 

If it's possible, can you verify if you are able to connect properly, by establish a direct Connection between your Xbox and the Technicolor TC8305C. This method require you to use an Ethernet Cable between these two devices.

Go to Xbox Network settings and select Configure network. Select the Additional settings tab and Restore to factory defaults.

Turn off your console.

Power off your TC8305C for a couple of minutes. Power it back on wait for it to connect properly.

Connect your Xbox to the TC8305C, and turn on your console, and run a diagnostic test to Live (Test Xbox Live Connection).

Let me know how that goes.

Hey, there is no point in starting another topic, so I'm gonna ask here.

I have almost same issue as saab323. I've checked my router and everyting is okay (I am using a computer at the same time and it's not disconnecting). My xbox disconects from live also every few minutes playing online game. Is there a problem with Xbox Live?
I can't figure out what is happening and this is really annoying.
