Randomly disconnecting from Xbox Live on Xbox One (wireless only).

Hi, this is a problem that has annoyed me for months, whenever i connect to my router via a wired connection, it is fine. However, whenever I take the xbox up to my bedroom and try to play any games through the wireless connection, it seems to have trouble.
It will work fine for about half an hour or so, then it will just randomly cut out and say i am disconnected from xbox live, then whenever I go back to the home screen it will say 'connect to xbox live', then it will reconnect automatically within a few seconds.
I'll add that every other device connected to my wireless internet works fine, including my xbox 360.

My download speed is 37.53 mbps compared with 100mbps on my computer (wireless), the upload speeds are the same at 6mbps, MTU is 1480, Latency is 166ms on the xbox one and ping on the computer is 28ms, packet loss is 0% and wireless strength is 74%. Any
help would be greatly appreciated, also tried the troubleshooting tips and none of that worked.

I have a xbox elite and wireless adapter, it keeps disconnecting from xbox live randomly

My xbox 360 keeps randomly disconnecting from xbox live. I'm using Virtual Router Plus as my wireless connection if that has anything to do with it.

 

Just to add to this, the only figure that changes when i run the test on a wired connection is the download speed, which changes from 37.53 to 61.56. All other figures are pretty much the same.

 

Probably wifi interference.

If you have a dual band router then try connecting to the 5Ghz band.

I've found that 5Ghz gives me a far more reliable connection as well as full line speed of 75meg

 

Problem occurs on both bands. Tried to put xbox on downstairs TV directly beside the router and it still disconnects.
