Randomly disconnected from Live

When i get on xbox and go afk for about 10 min or so my xbox 360 kicks me offline every time. Ive tried to clear cache and delete my profile and redownload but nothing is working. Really makes me mad. Please help.

I am being disconnected from Xbox Live when I start to play World of Tanks and other games.

The forum name is "randomly being disconnected from xbox live".

 

All my recent CC transactions show up as Declined

Is this also the reason why I get randomly disconnected from Xbox Live?

Do you by chance use a WLAN connection, and when you go away, do you use a Microwave oven during that time?

If not, it will REALLY help, if you described your connection and network setup in more detail. Also, try to "simulate" being AFK, by just putting away the controller and observing the console for 10 minutes. Do the disconnects still happen?

If you have a wireless setup the best thing you can do is to reset the modem. There will be a switch on the back of the modem just shut it off and wait for about 10 minutes. Then boot it up again. If that does not work, get on your console and go to your
network settings. Choose "Forget Network" and try reconnecting again. If these do not help, you may want to contact your wireless company.
