Randomly Disconnect and Lag

My connection was really good, but then I randomly disconnected and had an NAT error. I forwarded ports 3074 and 88, then 80 to finally get an open NAT, but now I lag consistently and many times lag out of games. I often will lag during a game and end up
on a completely different place than what I started in. I've also reset my router, disconnected everything off my internet, reset my console to factory defaults, switched to a wired connection, and even called my ISP. I have done everything I know. What do
I do to stop my connection problems?

It says I cant connect to my home network. And when I do connect I lag or randomly just disconnect from xbox live

Well lag is something else really, did you lag and then disconnect before or just disconnect?

 

When you run a network statistics test in network settings, what's your latency and packet loss? Depending on what game, such as Halo Reach, it could be the game's host, and your connection to the host is bad (because of their connection and not yours).
Try running speedtest and pingtest as well on a PC. If your packet loss or latency is bad (anything over 50ms is pushing it, ideally you want 40 if you're on DSL and 20 if you're on cable, anything under 10 ms if you're on fiber optic).

If you're on DSL though that could explain why you're having issues. DSL is just..obsolete and old to put it simply. It shouldn't even be considered broadband capable if you ask me.
