    Random Xbox Series X Shut Downs


    At first. I thought that I accidentally shut down my Xbox Series X, but it has happened 4 times in the last week.

    When playing a game (hasn’t happened yet in home page), the Series X willl completely and without warning shutdown. I don’t have time to play very long each session so the Series X wasn’t running for more than an hour at any given time.

    I did notice that the Series X was quite warm after each of these random shutdowns. This is quite detrimental as you can imagine in multiplayer games with teammates.

    I thought overheating wasn’t going to be a serious issue. I cannot recall this happening with my One X in the last 2 years.

    Please let me know if there is a fix or at least field failure analysis teams are aware and working on solutions.

    Seems to be an issue many others have had.

    Loading up any game will cause the xbox to shut down and restart. Its random but within 5 minutes of playing.

    •I've tried the following:

    Clearing the cache.

    •Wiping my account (or unenrolling)

    •Hard reset.

    Even tried uninstalling the games several times.

    Unfortunately, I believe they shut it down late last year however with the upcoming realise of the Xbox Series X they will be opening back up to suggestions.
