Random Xbox live disconnects, HELP

Ok so this is what is happening, it started in Call of Duty: Ghosts, I would try to join a game by myself then I will be put into a lobby of people then about 2 secs go by and I get taken out of that lobby then go back into a new one with no one in it, then
I get taken out of that lobby and get taken back into a lobby with no one in it, and this will just keep repeating over and over.

If I join a lobby with friends as the host it then puts us into a game and then about 20 secs into the game I "lose connection to the host"

Recently with the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare I have been getting disconnect with in 30 secs into the game I then try to reconnect to Xbox Live it comes up with that common error code where you need to test your connection when I test my connection
everything is good, then i can sign back in and after maybe 5-10 min of play time I have to repeat this same process because I keep getting disconnected, I thought it was the cable to my xbox so I bought a new one and it is still doing it

• now here are my internet speeds 125 Mbps down and 25 Mbps up with a 4ms ping

• I have the xbox 360 slim

• I also have port forwarded my xbox on ports 53, 80, 88, 3074

• I am connect though Ethernet

Sorry to hear about the disconnecting issue! What is the specific error code code that you are receiving? Does this issue occur if connected to wireless (if possible)? Could you also provide us your router and modem brand and model numbers? Since you are
able to connect for a little bit, let's start by clearing your Xbox 360 cache three times.

If you could provide that info that will help a lot, but try those steps I linked as well!

 

Ok, Why in my original post does it say [Mod Removed]? I am pretty sure I say something about a program that could have messed with my router, but I guess that is not important, since it has been removed?

• Anyways back to the topic, The specific error code is 8015190e, I have already did all the solutions for that.

• I can can't connect to wireless because Xbox could not fit a network adapter into the design nor do I want to spend $60 to troubleshoot.

• My router/modem is a Technicolor model #: TC8305C

I will clear my cache again, but I have done this twice so far, and it has not helped...also I don't just come to xbox support for easy things I explore all possibilities and research before asking for help.

I've been having the same sort of issue, and I even have the same modem. Here is what I had posted a while back but updated to current:

Starting a few weeks ago, whenever I try to play certain games I get disconnected from the game, as well as Xbox Live. The games I have had the greatest issues with are; Destiny, Mass Effect 3, World of Tanks and occasionally Halo 4 as well. I have tried
numerous things to try and fix this issue. At first, I suspected my internet connection, however my Xbox 360 was the only thing affected. Additionally, after contacting my internet provider, they said that there were no issues with my connection. So then I
suspected my Xbox 360 Slim. Just yesterday I bought a brand new Xbox 360 E, but I am still having the same issue. I have also tried clearing the system cache 3 times in a row then deleting and re-downloading my profile. So far nothing has worked. The only
lead I have left is the error code I recently got, which is 8015190E.

wow weird...are we like twins? I am experiencing the same thing where only my Xbox is effected and only on certain games.

So it looks like the issue could be your Technicolor routers, as there is a known issue that fits exactly what you guys are experiencing. Here is an official post on them here, which
suggests setting your firewall to low or disabling the firewall completely. If that doesn't help, the next step would be to call Comcast to further troubleshoot the router issues.

I'm sorry for any frustration this may have caused, and I really hope you guys can get the issue resolved soon! Please feel free to post back and let us know how it all goes!

Since you have a firewall built into both the Xbox 360 and your PC, it is safe to set your router firewall to low or off for cases like this. Follow

these steps to lower or remove firewall settings from your Technicolor router.

Hey, guys! To echo what Mister Beep said, I'm very sorry to see about the disconnect issues! If you could, I'm looking to find out which type of Xbox 360 you've got. You should have either the original 360, the 360 S, or the 360 E. If you aren't sure which
one you have, you can determine this by the kind of power button you have:

• Xbox 360 Original: White or Black power button (depending on which color console you have).
  
• Xbox 360 S: Silver/chrome power button that is touch sensitive, larger circle.
  
• Xbox 360 E: Silver/chrome power button that needs to be pushed in like the Original console, smaller circle.

I have the 360 S, and removing the firewall helped for 30 min or so and now it, is back how it was not working, random disconnects, and stuff from the original post.

So I guess is a Comcast issue

 

Thank you for that bit of information, GGr DIGIDYDOG! I will be sure to pass this along to the appropriate teams. I'm very sorry to see that the firewall being disabled did not resolve your issue. If you have a separate router, you can contact Comcast and
ask them to put your gateway device into "bridge" mode. I have seen success doing that with other customers.

My question is why all of a sudden after 2 years with the same modem/router combo does it start acting up...I will enable bridge mode...what exactly is it?
