Random reset when moving.

It's quite strange this is happening to you, it could indicate some hardware problem, but ideally you should try a reset to rule out that it is any firmware failure.

Go to Settings>System>Console Information

And reset without deleting your games. Don't worry about progress, purchases, achievements, etc. You don't lose any data. Note that the console accounts will be removed, so you must have the email and password of each account to enter them again.

My gamerscore isn't actually gone, I still have the Gamerscore itself. But when I look at my achievement list all the games have been erased and the latest game I played, Mass Effect 2 has been reset to 0/1355 achievements. Which SUCKS because I was literally
3 achievements away from maxing out the game... What on earth is going on?!

Happened to me. I was playing Mass Effect 3 and got a message from someone asking if I knew why his GS had been reset. I checked mine and it's gone except for 1 random ME3 achievement I gained today - and a few other people on my friends list have gamerscore
reset too. I haven't cheated - I don't even know how to cheat!

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox console. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

Based on your description, there could be an issue with your Xbox console software. Are you able to sync your data via cloud by signing your account?

Try to perform another factory reset keep my games and apps.

Note: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options. Be sure to choose the Reset and keep my games & apps option so that you don’t lose any of your games and apps.

This will also help sync the data on your console properly. Once you're done, install a game and observe if your console will still randomly factory reset by itself.

I was literally going to make the same topic. The same exact thing happened to me, with my gamerscore being reset to zero. One thing I do notice between you and I is that we have been both playing Mass Effect, and then it resets...I'm currently on the phone
with MS customer support now, patiently waiting for someone to talk to.

Glad to know that we weren't the only ones experiencing this. I've never cheated to attain a gamerscore in my life, and I don't know why it would reset
