Random Installation Xbox One

Okay so one day I was at home in the games and apps section, i go to get something to drink and come back it says Cod Ghosts is installing in my head I'm like hell yeah I don't know where it came from but oh well. Anyway it finished today, I tried to play
it but it says installation almost done you need to sign into the owners profile that purchased this game, So now I'm here. It took up space in my hard drive and says its in my games. My question is how did I get the game without buying it or signing another
profile into my xbox

Xbox One Games Un-Installing Then Re-Installing When I Turn My Xbox On

I'm only guessing that those games are trying to download a patch and/or finish an incomplete installation, and they only get hindered when your Xbox gets turned off or some other random reason.

I would suggest deleting all of those problem games, and reinstalling them one by one.

Installation Stopped

I've been having this problem for about a year now and I've tried all sorts of fixes but nothing seems to be working permanently. Every time I try to reinstall an old game of or even update one it comes up at any random point during the installation with "Installation
Stopped"

Clearing my local saved games or hard resetting my Xbox doesn't do anything, does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have a used Xbox? The old owner of your Xbox (at least I think) still has your Xbox as his home Xbox so you will get his digital games. The reason you can't play it though is because he hasn't set your profile as his home Xbox. At least that's what
I think. Does that make sense kinda? If you don't have an used Xbox, that's weird. Call the popo.

deft, doesnt matter if the other sets the OP profile. All that would do if give the other guy OPs games.

But it does sound like your Xbox is set as someone elses home. Like Defy said, if the XB is used or your friend made it that way by accident. etc. But the fact you cant play it means who ever it was has switched their name out.

Hello Tarzan,

Does the installation stop at a certain point always or is it random? You can try the

installation problem guide see if it helps any. Try disconnecting the external storage and install the updates see if it works.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are noticing random games installing onto your Xbox One Console. If this console is not your home Xbox, someone else's profile may be set as home. If this happens, any new games that person installs will then install
on other consoles. To prevent this from happening, you can adjust you settings to not install games remotely; check out this article:

Just to double check, are you trying to install those add-ons on a external hard drive?

If yes, please disconnect that drive. Perform the power cycle process one more time and install the whole game in the internal storage (before that try installing a random game/app first, once the installation ends proceed with the previous)
