Random Disconnects While Gaming...... But netflix works fine?

I have a rather annoying issue. Basically, I play two games online. COD Ghosts, And Gothem City Imposters. Whenever I'm gaming, I either have trouble signing on to

the games and it says I can't connect, Or A few minutes into each round I randomly get disconnected, and end up having to go xbox home perform a connection test

and I get re-connected. It's an endless cycle. However, I use netflix instead of having cable tv, and there is never an issue streaming netflix. Please help me I'm so frustrated.

My modem CISCO DPC3828

Hard Wired Via Ethernet Cable

I have no other routers or gateways.

UPnP Is Enabled

Things I have tried

Cleared Cache

Re-Downloaded Profile

Factory Reset Modem

Turned Off Modem Firewall

Unchecked Box Stating Block Anonymous Internet Requests



I never had problems with my previous ISP, and I can't for the life of me figure it out. I don't know how to port forward for COD Ghosts with my specific router. Also the only other thing running off of my modem is my PC running XUBUNTU. Any input greatly
appreciated. Thanks!

Random disconnects while using netflix.

I've had this similar problem while viewing Netflix from my 360. Also while playing games halfway through an online match it will disconnect I used to think it was poor wireless internet connection but I now have a wired connection and my internet itself
doesn't disconnect just the xbox from xbox live. Most of the time after I disconnect I can re-connect easily because the internet still works and never went out it just disconnects every 15-30 minutes sometimes every 5, it seems completely random. I have
also deleted and cleared my system cache and reset my xbox/router and checked my speed and every other possible solution. Everything is fine with my internet, my profile simply disconnects randomly,

Some of the cache clearance procedures tell you to clear it only once, but we've recently found clearing it thrice yields significantly better results, hence my suggestion, which addresses the most frequent cause of this problem, the corrupted profile. I

as I understand your only problem is running multiplayer games and this comes as a result of the settings of your modem. Most of the time CISCO DPC3828 comes with a consumer-friendly feature like Wireless Protected Setup or pre-configured Parental Control
that isolate your network for protection. To bypass this pre-configuration you should forward your NAT settings and that would result in a better multiplayer gaming experience.
