    Random disconnects during gameplay


    Starting about a week or two ago, I've been getting issues where I'll randomly be disconnected from Xbox Live. Sometimes I'll play online for several hours with no issues, other times I'll have it happen several times in an hour. I'm getting the error code
    80151901, which I looked up on the Xbox website and it says it can be an issue with a corrupt profile. No idea how my profile would become corrupted, but I tried what was suggested (deleting profile, clearing cache three times, re-downloading profile) and
    that didn't seem to fix anything. Here's a few pics of it happening, taken about two hours ago:

    I also got error code 8015190E, but only once. I looked that up, and that mentions issues possible issues with Xbox Live (I've already checked xbox.com/servicealerts, only issue that shows up is an issue with Kinect Nat Geo TV) or my account being blocked,
    which it obviously isn't. Sometimes while in the middle of a game like Titanfall or PvZ, I'll randomly get dropped from the server
    and lose connection to my Xbox Live party (but I won't be disconnected from Live), but friends who were also in the game with me didn't lose connection to the game or party, so it must be something on my end.

    And since I saw this asked in another topic...

    What Country/State/Province do you live in?: United States, California

    Modem brand & model number:
    N/A

    Router brand & model number: Verizon, Model # MI424WR

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?:
    Ethernet cable runs directly from router to my 360.

    Things you have tried:
    Deleting profile, clearing the system cache three times, re-downloading profile, power-cycling the console, resetting my router.

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown
    Unknown, although I can likely find out if necessary.

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?
    No, and my NAT type is Open.

    Any Error Codes you encounter:
    80151901 (8015190E once)

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?:
    Verizon

    Apparently, the MTU setting is 1500. I'm still having the problem with any connection method that I try.

    am very sorry for the connection issues you are having and I will try to help you out with a list of some things that hopefully will fix your problems. I will set a list of steps below that can hopefully help you.

    Go to your Xbox Dashboard

    Hit the middle button on your Xbox controller

    Go to settings

    In settings find and click system settings

    Go into storage

    Highlight over hard drive (if you use a USB flash drive in replace of a hard drive then highlight over Memory Unit)

    Hit Y and click on Clear System Cache

    Do this three times (only three)

    After you have done this go into the hard drive or memory unit and click profiles

    Delete your profile but do not delete the items with it. PROFILE ONLY!!!

    After that please re-download your profile to your Xbox.

    If you are still experiencing problems I will list more instructions below for the next solution.

    Go to your Xbox Dashboard

    Hit the middle button on your controller

    Go to settings

    In settings find and click system settings

    Go into Network Settings

    Find your connection (If you are attached to an Ethernet cable please choose wired network if WiFi find your WiFi network)

    Once you click your connection go into Test Xbox Live Connection

    If everything is working fine then it might be just to much lag in a game that is causing your connection to go nuts. If you have a yellow icon in between your connection name and internet then your NAT might be closed or at moderate. You can fix this by
    turning your modem or router off (if you have both a router and modem then disconnect both of them) for 5 - 10 minutes (make sure your xbox is off completely as well) and turn them all back on after that and hopefully your NAT is not closed anymore. If you

    I've already tried deleting my profile, clearing the system cache three times, and re-downloading my profile, as I mentioned in my original post. I also have an Open NAT, which I also mentioned in my post.

    I'm fairly certain it isn't anything to do with lag, because I'll get disconnected from Xbox Live while playing single-player games, or watching Netflix.

    Hey there moon!

    If you haven't already, restore your console's network settings to factory defaults, to issue new IP configuration from your router.

    I would also suggest that you try connect your console with a different Ethernet cable, if the current one has become faulty and causes the electric signal to degrade.

    Go to Xbox Network settings and select Configure Network. Select the Additional settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults. Afterwards, restart your console and run a diagnostic test to LIVE (Test Xbox LIVE Connection).

    I reset my settings to factory defaults, then turned my 360 off and back on. I connected to Xbox Live fine once it restarted, but I ran the test anyway and it didn't show anything unusual.

    I won't know if everything is fixed until some time goes by, since the issue is sort of random. I'll let you know if I run into any more problems.

    If it matters, after running the test, I hit Y and had the following:

    W: 0000 - 000B

    X: 0000 - F001

    Y: 20A8 - 4840

    Z: 0000 - 0000

    ID FFFF - FFFF

    L: 0015 - 10F0

    Q: 8007 - 0435

    T: Wired

    A: 192.168.1.6/255.255.255.0

    G: 192.168.1.1

    D: 192.168.1.1/68.238.64.12

    Well, it definitely was better today. Didn't get disconnected from Live at all, but twice on Titanfall and once on PvZ I lost connection to the servers and got kicked out of my party. Friends didn't lose connection to the game/party, but I'd say overall
    it was a big improvement.

    If its possible, try connect your console with an Ethernet cable. This can more easily tell us if these disconnections is isolated to your wireless setup, or not.

    If you haven't already, "go into the UPnP section and check “Enable automatic cleanup of old unused UPnP services” and change the WAN Connection Publication box to “Publish all WAN Connections”.

    On REV. I the UPnP option has been hidden and is only accessible through a direct link.

    192.168.1.1/index.cgi

    Afterwards, reboot your wireless gateway.
