Random disconnection of xbox live

Hello everyone !

I first want to apologize if my english is not very good: p It's been a few weeks since I have disconnection problems with xbox live when everything worked well before and nothing has been changed. At
first, it disconnected me regularly when I played online and the few times it worked there were bugs. So I learned about the possible causes of this problem. I tried different things related to the network (connection test, ping + download down / up), storage
(damaged files + cache) and other (test with another xbox live account and no problem) but there was a update to be done at the security level apparently. I tried to do it directly on the xbox but it did not work and it showed me an error message. So I did
it on my computer by logging into my account but not remembering my email backup (it's been years that I have not used) where I'm supposed to receive a verification code, I asked to change my backup email address. My request has been taken into account but
the information will be updated in 1 month, according to the message I received, which is huge I think. Especially since I made this action, my account is disconnected without stopping the xbox live and the few times that I arrive online, there are huge bugs
that I can not play. So I come to you for help. Can you tell me if this connection problem is really related to the update of the security of my account and if I have to wait for my request to take effect in 1 month to finally play online?

I can't say dor sure if it has something to do with the security update you've mentioned.

nevertheless you can try to do a power cycle on you're console, this helps most of the time with a wide variety of issues,
