    I logged on to ISP web page, logged into my account settings and requested a remote equipment check, result no faults My ping results are as follows:

    Packet loss 0%

    Ping 60ms

    Jitters 17ms

    Result Grade B- "Very good connection"

    Ok, not out standing but good enough to cope with better than an hours game play I should expect.

    Again this morning, one hour in on Wot, connection gone. Start up and log on to Xbox live 09.07 lost connection at 10.09 on screen message reads : "service unavailable please visit worldoftanks.com/support for server status. then to re join WOT I have to
    re-sign back in to Xbox live :-/?

    So I'm only getting an hours game time across the board on the Xbox one, this has never happened with my 360, it has got to be a problem with the servers? Xbox live? or the console itself?

    HI Guys, I don't think it's just me! But I'm being disconnected from Xbox live quite often while in game..... Doe's anybody have any idea what is causing this very common problem? I've done all the checks my end that I need to do and I really don't think
    it's a problem with my connection set up (wired) it has got to be a problem with Xbox live itself. Can anybody confirm this as it's driving me insane. I never had these issues with the 360, it just seems to affect the Xbox 1. Very annoying!

    I'm in England, Northeast. I have virgin media super hub router. It's a wired connection direct from my Xbox 1 to the router.. Like I said " I never had these issues with the 360 (same setup) it just seems to affect theXbox 1" I'm still getting familiar
    with the Xbox 1 dashboard but having checked my settings and the connection speed, everything is tickety boo, except for the constant connection failure, which is almost every other game session.. The only other thing which is sharing the router is my PC which
    is also directly wired via an Ethernet cable same as the Xbox 1. No connection problems there either. The disconnections only occur when using my Xbox 1 console.

    Predominantly while in game on WOT, World of Tanks.

    Same again, Re joined at 10.11 am lost connection again at 11.10 am,same old same old. At least it's consistent! :-/

    Thats doesn't say you have a perfect connection, it says you had a perfect connection at the very specific moment in time, you need to contact your ISP and get them to run tests while your playing online.

    Also contact MS support and get them to trouble shoot, I can't offer any more advice, I do hope you get it sorted.

    Update; have been on to MS support, chatted with a really nice guy called Gerald, I have latency issues ideally my latency should be no more than 150, mine is 168 this is causing some lag problems. Also I need to do some port forwarding, something that was
    mentioned earlier EnenDaveyBoy, you were spot on.

    The links are there for those like me who have/had no idea what port forwarding is and how it affects the Xbox one.

    OK, Gerald helped me re-set my profile but I need to contact my ISP to open the required ports on my Virgin media super hub. If I could do it myself I would!? Maybe I can.

    Anyway I just hope the issue I've been having is on it's way to being resolved, a big thank to you guys who helped with you knowledge and been patient with me, you know who you are! CHEERS!

    Port forwarding is easy enough to setup, providing you only want to do it on one device, most routers won't allow port forwarding the same ports for different devices.

    www.google.co.uk/search

    even if you set it up yourself still contact your isp and get them to run the tests, your ISP will no doubt blame MS, and MS could easily blame your ISP, the tests cost nothing and may or may not help.

    I think my latency is more than 150, because I am in the UK and that figure is using a US server, I think.

    I Just heard this tonight at work from one of the young lads I work with! :-/ they're telling me my latency should be no where near 150 but well below. Apparently it's a common problem with my ISP.

    I guess I'll find out in the morning.

    no ones an idiot, and we all have to start somewhere.

    The bad news is I don't expect it to get fixed.

    No idea of your situation, but one way to figure out if its the console or your ISP, is to take your console to a family members and friends and play for the a few hours, if it does the same its the console, if it's fixed its the ISP. I would recommend a
    trying both virgin and another isp if you can.

    Ok, will do. It seems most people I know are having issues one way or another!? Guess it's just my turn. I'll do the port forwarding thingy for now and see if that makes a difference.

    Ok, just an update for those who might still be following this, that might have the same or similar issues to mine.

    I've been in game for over two hours now and no lagging out, I hope i'm not speaking too soon! I did the port forwarding thingy whatsname on-line, using the guides previously highlighted and, so far so good.

    The only ports I could open were: 20013-20014 TCP+UDP for WOT

    3074-3074 TCP+UDP for Microsoft

    3075-3075 TCP+UDP for black ops 3

    So up to now, I haven't lost connection Random disconnection from xbox live while in game (Xbox 1) :) Still it's just been over two hours..... Watch this space, I'll come back at the end of this weekend starting 22/01/16 when I've got chance to put a longer games session in to see how things are bearing up........

    So to you out there that might still be interested.

    Following the port forwarding and to what seemed like success, the following day 20/01/16 turned out to be a return to disaster?

    I logged on to what I thought would be trouble free gaming ( not gambling) then an hour in, almost to the minute I lose connection. Started up at 09.09am lost connection at 10.09am!Logged back on at 10.12am, lost it again at 11.10am, got back on at 11.10am,
    lost it yet again at 12.10am to the minute! Got back on at 12.12pm and finally lost at 13.10. Now I had finally lost it, tossed my cookies and everything! Lol…. Had to leave things there for the day. Tomorrow was another day to approach this with a cooler
    head…

    OK, so I’ve been back in touch with Microsoft and I’ve followed all the recommendations (to many to mention here) and the upshot of it is, they think there’s a problem with the software in my Xbox One, so it’s going to the repair centre to get checked out
    and hopefully put right.

    Thank you guys again for all the replies. When I get it back from the repair centre I’ll let you know the result
