Random disconnection from xbox game pass PC

Since I acquired the PC gamepass I have had random disconnections, this only happens to me with online games. My pc is connected by ethernet cable and simply drops the connection as if the modem were turned off. (However my other devices connected to the
same modem do not suffer from the disconnection).

I am thinking that it may be a firewall issue but I have not found any solution.

I do not think it is a hardware error, in general I spend a lot of time playing League of Legends and it never takes me out, however when I go to play dead by daylight, minecraft dungeons or any other game that requires an active connection it takes me
off the internet continuously .

Try the following to pin down the cause of the disconnects:

On the PC, open two command prompts (press Windowskey+R and type "cmd" in the dialogue and press OK. Repeat that to have two command prompt windows).

Now in one window, ping the IP address of your gateway modem (i.e. your router). In most cases this is an IP like 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 or something similar. If in doubt, run "ipconfig /all" and check the line for "Default Gateway" on your PC.

In the second window, ping the Google DNS Server: ping 8.8.8.8 -t

On both windows, make sure to use the "-t" option for the ping to run continuously and not stop after 4 pings.

Now use your PC normally, and as soon as it disconnects, check the PING outputs.

If BOTH ping outputs produce errors, check if the ethernet cable is faulty, or if there is something amiss between PC and router.

If ONLY the Google PING stops, then it's an issue on your router.

Also, does this only happen with RDR2 or does it happen with every game?
