    Random Controller Disconnects


    My XBO controller keeps disconnecting at random points while playing and I cannot figure out how to fix it. I have the standard controller (the new one) and a One X Scorpio Day One Console. I have tried moving and resetting the console and have tried two
    new controllers. No luck. Any ideas?

    Random Controller Disconnects

    Hey there IWOMBOLOGYI!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue.

    How are your batteries?

    If I were you I would make sure that you try some of the troubleshooting steps here on

    Troubleshoot your Xbox One Wireless Controller     and see if they help any.

    Since this is happening with different controllers though, I would then try what we call a soft reset of your console.

    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.
