Random Controller Death. Please Assist.

Ok, so heres my problem as briefly as i can put it...

My controller Died.

I was replaying "The Walking Dead" by Telltale with my Plantronics RIG 500 Headset plugged into my Xbox Wired Controller. During one of the game cutscenes my headset jack was pulled loose accidentally (Common gamer problem i expect when dealing with wired
products of any sort) but when i reconnected my jack i found the controller was dead... unresponsive in all aspects. No Sound. No Light. No Response to buttons or Joysticks. No response when i attempted both a complete restart of the Console nor when i attempted
to use it on my MSI Gaming PC (I have used this controller before on this machine with no issue but prefer Keyboard and mouse input here)

I would appreciate some sort of support on this issue.

"Your connection to Xbox live has been lost. Please sign in again." I can hit "ok" or "test connection" my connection I have tested over and over and it runs fine. Like I said I can sign onto any xbl profile other than

When you say "headset jack", do you mean that your Plantronics headset was plugged directly into the controller's 3.5-mm audio jack? If so, it is possible that something unintentionally got shorted when the 3.5-mm jack was accidentally pulled loose. But,
first, let me suggest you try a couple of things to see if we can get the controller up and running again, "Connect a wireless Xbox One controller to
your console" and "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" . Let us know if this helped.
