Random connection interupted! HELP!

So on bo3 multiplayer i get random disconnects wich are prettty rare. 3 and hour

but on bo3 zombies it occurs every 10 min and on halo get completely kicked out of the match(halo 5 warzone)

I have a a genexis modem and a sitecom wlr4004. It occurs when im wired and with an open nat. Before this i used to have lag spikes every min but now with the sitecom wlr4004 i get random disconects at heavy gamemodes(zombies, warzone) because regular multiplayer
works almost fine

Note: if i get a conection interupted or kag spike, skype or party chat stops aswell

Please help!!!!!

The lag spikes on my old router happend for 2 years and now i get randomly disconnevted for 10 sec or more

so i've been trying to play online with connectivity issues.

Packet loss: 0%

Latency 45 ms

Wireless strength: 94%

however while i'm playing live i consistently get this message - CONNECTION INTERRUPTED!

i have a Netgear C6300BD Dual Band.

any connection fixes/lag fixes?

You shouldn't have to delete the marketplace system data. As far as deleting the cache more than once, just press B and repeat the process as explained in the link for clearing your cache. It should take you back to the same option again as I've tested this
myself.

 

you are using the genexis AND the sitecom ? ....I think those are both routers ? (4 ports on the back )...

 

The sitecom is a router and the genexis is a modem according to my isp. The genexis doss have 4 lan ports

 

The Genexis is a router too. You will need to make sure that your ISP has disabled ALL routing capabilities. Let us know. Good Luck!

 

Thanks alot, ill check it out. Any other tips. Because beside my modem being a router i have an ok internet service (100 mb up and dl) and an ok router. Btw i might try to disavle all other devices who use the internet to see if that works

 

plug the xbox right into the modem (genexis) and reboot everything and test that way ... plug into the #1 port , if the router part is disabled , the others should be dead anyway...

 

1 how do i disable the router part

2 so i connect my xone with the genexis modem/router while the sitecom is turned of, then i reboot it and it could work??

the #1 port on your "modem" should go to your "router"...just unplug the "router" and plug in the xbox ...then reboot the "modem" and the xbox and retest....

to disable the router settings of your modem , get the model number and i'll look it up if I can , you will have to log into it to change the settings....sometimes , this can only be done by your isp , if they have decent tech support , you could call them
on that part...

 

Sorry that it took so long but i dud that and.... No lag at all. But the wifi is out because the router isnt setup. Once i tried to connect both the router and the xbox to the modem, only one worked. If the router was connected the xbox said: cant connect
to dhcp server.

So what does this mean: should i buy a better router since the problem isnt the modem or my internet, or can i connect both my xbox and my router on the modem

 

You won't be able to connect both the router and the console to the modem at the same time. If you want to connect to console to the modem for testing you will need to disconnect the router and connect the console to the same port the router is connected.

 

Thats what i did and i had no lag, so does that mean the problem is the router and that i should buy a better one( wired to router=lag, wired to modem=no lag)

 

From what I can tell both devices that you are using are both wifi routers. The Genexis is apparently being used as the modem and if that is the case you need to ensure that all routing capabilities of the device have been disabled. If not then it will
definitely cause some issues. From what I can tell about sitecom wlr4004 router it is a relative inexpensive router. Since I don't have any direct knowledge of either device all I have to go by is what I see online. First things that I would do would be
to make sure the Genexis is configured properly will all network capabilities disabled then make sure the sitecom device is running the latest firmware and if still having issue you may want to try a different router.

 

Im actialy using the tplink wr1043nd right niw. Wich gets lag aswell but on this one. It qre lag spikes every min but they only last a sec. Wich i prefer over 10 sec. I dont know if that changes things but ill try to didable all routing abilities on the
