Random collections availability

The Jigsaw program seems to randomly decide that not all the collections will be available. After working through sufficient levels to have points to redeem more collections, I downloaded them. Now, sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. Can't
see any obvious reason for it. Anyone having similar issues or solutions?

The drops are random. If you keep playing, you should eventually receive enough items to complete your Collection for the destination.

 

Although I haven't run into your exact problem yet, I have had a problem with downloaded collections: I've completed all the Cityscapes (one of the two free downloadable collections, Food being the other) puzzles on both easy and medium, but did not get
credit in the stats for completing a collection. I've also completed all the Food puzzles on Easy, gotten the Hungry for Puzzles achievement, but did not get credit for completing that collection, either.

Until I have a chance to fully verify that Landscapes and Wild Animals can be completed and that Cityscapes and Food cannot, I'm going to hold off spending my gold on the other collections, or will buy the cheapest one to start off with.

As part of my troubleshooting, I've played everything on Easy two or more times, so I've got some extra gold to burn if I have to delete and rebuy a collection.

Although there isn't a delete function through the normal user interface, I've looked at the user directory folder structure, and there are folders and files for downloaded collections. At some point I'll probably attempt to manually delete and then redownload
a collection to see if that fixes the issue I'm having.

 

NikkiN777, have you tried completely closing the game and restarting it. We have received several reports that this makes the collections show up again.

 

I had downloaded the color collection and it has been several days and reboots and it still is missing.

 

Please make sure that you are logged in. If the game cannot connect, it won't be able to pull up your account information, including your collections. You should see a green check mark if you are logged in and connected.

 

I understand I need to have my computer turned on be connected to the internet and be logged on to my Xbox account. It's still very flaky and there are many other bugs. It appears to be a half dozen sprints from a fully functional game.

 

Have you manually checked for Windows updates and installed? Please make sure to install any missing updates and then select Restart on your device.

 

This is most likely caused by a connection issue. Please try to get closer to your Wi-Fi, make sure your data isn’t being set to “limited” in your OS, or try connecting through a wired connection. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then ensure you're signed
into Live and delete your “LocalState” cache folder for Jigsaw.
