Discus and support Random Black Screen in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When playing Modern Warfare remastered the entire screen shut off on me.     Random Black Screen


    When playing Modern Warfare remastered the entire screen shut off on me. I unplugged the HDMI cable and plugged it back in and the screen came back on. Anyone experience this issue before?

    My screen blacked out last night while playing Forza so I switched out the HDMI cable and was able to game for another hour without a black screen. Hopefully that is a permanent fix. I'm hoping to game tonight for a few hours tonight to know for sure. Thanks

    I've just had to send off my console to Microsoft because it kept crashing, refusing to load apps and now won't even start up properly. From what I've seen online lots of people have experienced similar issues. Shouldn't be happening
    on a brand new console less than two weeks out if the box.

    I'm sorry to hear that.

    This is regarding a random disconnect between the HDMI and xbox though. All my games and apps load fine. It's a risk we all take buying new consoles. I should have waited till spring but it is what it is.

    Make sure HDMI is securely seated. Try another HDMI cable. Some HDMI cables do not have a deep socket to them, look at the original X1 HDMI for reference, or best use that if you can. Make sure all components have there newest firmware updates.
