Random and constant WiFi and controller disconnection

Heya,

Was wondering if someone could help me out with this issue.

My Xbox One has been stuffing up for a while now. It keeps randomly disconnecting the WiFi and the controller won't sync. It's absolutely frustrating to try to get it to connect again. Has been happening frequently and resetting the Xbox, even
with removing power all together does not fix it; or at least not for long.

Has anyone else had trouble with this issue? How do I fix it?

I'm no technology expert but could the access point/router affect it somehow? Especially being right next to the console.

Inability to stream Xbox on Windows 10

Same here, constant disconnections. Work perfectly in windows 8.1 even with very high detail. Using surface pro 3. I put the Xbox on Ethernet and tablet on a separate 5g WiFi network in same room with router and was still getting disconnections.

Constant Random Xbox Live Disconnections

A router restart may help,so can disconnecting any other devices from your Wi-Fi as said before or Reseting your router,the first option has done the job for me. And i dont think buying a new console is the ultimate solution,its just a problem either between
the router-xbox ports or just a Live problem. Going to do some more research on the problem. Also you can try opening up some ports,you can also try restoring to factory defaults. These are the "Popular" current solutions.

Not sure if my problem is the same, but I get the usual random controller disconnects, however I also get controller disconnects that are a longer duration (still seconds) and when this happens I lose my connection to xbox live for just a split second, enough
to kick me out of whatever game I'm playing. It happens less when I use a wire with the controller. I've sent my console off for repair to no avail and I've purchased two additional controllers, which have also developed other faults (my day one has a
broken L shoulder button, my second one has an intermittent R shoulder button and now my new one has a dodgy A button)

I look after my stuff, both previous xboxes are still running fine (including the original) I preordered Halo 5 and trying to play it is getting depressing.

Yeah. It's starting to get unbearably frustrating. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. The controller and WiFi isn't connecting at all now. Probably going to need to buy a new console if I can't find a solution

I think it may be worsened by interference from other WiFi devices (doesn't effect anything else like this but hey) try contacting support over this before going out and buying a new one, but if you have to send it off its two weeks without a console

It didn't fix my issue but yours might be different, a lot of people have had their WiFi component fixed. I've spent many hours trawling through forums to try to fix my issue. Good luck.

Enable a perimeter network
(also known as DMZ) functionality on a router is used to remove restrictions to the Internet. This essentially moves your device to an area outside your network firewall. If you enable perimeter network
functionality on your router, you should be able to connect to Xbox Live, join games, and host games or parties.

It is critical that you use a static IP address on the console when you set up a perimeter network. To set a static IP address, use your router’s DHCP reservation function, when available. If this is not
available, you will have to set up manual IP settings on your Xbox console. You will only be able to place one Xbox console into the perimeter network. Therefore, if you have multiple consoles, this solution will only resolve the issue for one Xbox console.

I suggest you always use an Ethernet cabled wire connection when you see any difficulty in Connecting to the Internet.
