Random accounts 'liking' my activities

Hi everyone,

I've recently come across an issue that is a little odd: strange Xbox live accounts keep "liking" my game clips and pictures. I say it is odd for a few reasons: (1) the accounts have a Gamerpic of a high school/college-age girl (one was barely wearing clothes),
(2) the accounts have names that appear to be pretty old (one account's name was "Iron", and the other was "Tunneling", so they look like they could have come from the original Xbox days), and (3) the accounts have "errors" in them.

For the "errors", I mean some of the information on their account doesn't' add up. For instance, Iron's account said she had about a 1500 Gamerscore, but her activity feed doesn't show anything, and her achievements are the same way (or at least very little).
Also, Iron's following says that she has 14,000 followers, but she had one friend/club membership. Finally, when I had my friend do a search for Iron on his xbox, he didn't find any matches.

The other accounts appear to be empty shells; one or two friends, some activity feed on COD, but otherwise very little activity.

In any case, I get a notification from these people saying that they 'liked' my activity, but the 'like' doesn't show up on the activity feed. However, a short time later another account 'liked' the same activity, and when I pressed the home button to view
it, it showed both 'likes', but not on the activity feed again.

I looked on Reddit, and some people are thinking that it's some sort of social engineering scam. I just wanted to put this out there for other people know about, and hopefully Microsoft can shutdown any malicious accounts.

Random profiles (with female pics) liking UNSHARED activities

It is getting very annoying. I'd understand if it were shared activity, but lately I'm getting likes on pictures that I haven't even shared yet?? Literally in a span of 10 minutes, 3 profiles with pretty girls as their gamer pics liked them. I have my settings
set to not automatically sharing my activity, so I know it's not public!

Is anyone else having this issue with getting likes from UNSHARED activity?

 

Unable to share, like, comment Activities.

My account has it's Activity Feed frozen with read activities as unread. I'm also having issues with not being able to post comments, like activities, or share them. This has been this way for over 3 weeks now. I cannot delete comments made to my activities
or delete any shared activities as well. Please help restore my account back to it's proper functions.

That's a complete ****-move. This is why:

The way Xbox Live is now set up is this new feature called "Game Hub". Game hub will post the newest clips from everyone on Xbox Live to this Hub where everyone can see it. It might be different with privacy settings. However these people are not stalking
your account, they are simply on the Game Hub for said game. Don't block and report, that is the most insane and absolutely rudest advice I have ever heard. Especially since you didn't know where it is coming from.

 

Theres a complete difference between an actual xbox user liking your capture vs a spam bot. For starters their gamerpic can tell the story, especially if its of some hot instagram girl or something like that. Second would be the amount of followers they
have; i doubt that someone with a hot chick gamerpic and over 5000 followers would even find my clip and like it without it being spam.

Additionally while i do understand the concept of the Game Hub it can be a bit intrusive to those who wouldnt expect a random like from a random account.
