Random A clicking that doesn't stop $nothing to do with controller$

My xbox is automatically pressing A button repeatedly with out me touching it (nothing to do with controllers problem still occurs with no batteries) this is preventing me from signing in because it goes to ask for my password but the A problem stops it
coming up.

I had a problem similar to this a while back but was opposite to this problem, it would let me open anything when I pressed A. But now it's constantly pressing A, any idea how to fix this?

Xbox- PC streaming controller failing

So for some reason after a random amount of time, my controller will stop functioning, usually what ever my last movement with the stick is stuck in game (spinning in a circle, running in a straight line, ect). Unplugging and re-plugging in the controller
doesn't work, restarting the stream or app doesn't work. If I move over to the actual console and try to manipulate the controller, it still doesn't work. I gotta restart my whole system....which is unfortunate if I'm in a multiplayer match or a few hours
into an RPG without a recent save.

Microsoft PLEASE add in an option to customise when your controller times out!

To stop this happening just plug in a USB cable, nothing more nothing less. With a USB cable plugged in the controller will never disconnect.

Try to update your controller following the steps listed here: Update your Xbox Wireless Controller | Xbox Support

If the issue persists, try to soft reset your console to see if it corrects the issue. You can also try another controller to be able to determine the root cause of the issue!

If another controller works fine, you might want to request a replacement for your controller if it is still under warranty!

I just bought one and tried playing a game and it randomly stops responding and then do goes crazy doing random buttons and i lose total control and some times it works fine. what can i do?

Similar thing happened to a friend of mine. As stated in another post just dont respond however much it annoys you. Block, mute and report.
