Rampant, consequence-free modding on Black Ops 2 for about a month now.

I'm just posting this because I'm at my wit's end with the modders on Black Ops 2. This has been on-going at ridiculous levels for about a month now (as of 5/20/2018). I report them for cheating, I file complaints and select the "tampering" option, then
I file a second complaint and select the "cheating" option. I do this because I'm hoping that one of these reports/complaints will actually lead to an enforcement action. Sadly, I see the same gamertags, day-after-day, week-after-week completely dominating
games on Black Ops 2 (specifically the demolition lobbies) using mods.

They flaunt the fact that they're modding by using multi-color text for their gamertag and sometimes, they're even scrolling through an on-screen mod menu when I watch my kill cam. As in, if you're in the game with them, it's impossible to miss the fact
that they're modding. What I don't understand is, if they're being so incredibly obvious about it, why haven't they been banned? It's the same people over and over. The same people I report week after week, doing the same obvious stuff, running up 100-to-zero
kill counts by shooting through buildings from across an entire map. Or knifing through buildings from across an entire map. I mean, I'm no programmer, but how hard is it to catch these people and ban them?

If I start naming gamertags in this public forum, will it improve the odds that these people will get shut down? I'm sick of modders acting with impunity. I want something done. Just for now, can we do something about "VvS STUNTIN" (who I could see scrolling
through mod menus in my kill cam and getting kills by shooting through multiple buildings across a full map) and "OpTic Stocks" (who I've been reporting for modding literally for years for the same things)? Can someone please look at their games, come to the
inevitable conclusion that they're modding egregiously, and boot them from the community?

Hacked/Modded lobbies need help to ban profile

Treyarch nor Microsoft isn't going to do anything about that simply because Treyarch is finished with Call of Duty Black Ops 2. They're now working on their new 2015 Call of Duty. There will always be a hacking or modding in Call of Duty,previous CoDs are
already like that,so Black Ops 2 is apart of that now.....There is nothing we can do about. Hope for the best for Treyarch's next game.

Ive also noticed this. I like mw2 and Black Ops for about 2 months and now i hate both.

 

Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums and would not get them looking into any quicker. All you can do is continue to file complaints on them.

Ultimately, it's up to the developers to patch their game to keep it from happening in the first place.

 

I agree I pay to play and with all the modders they just take over the game Microsoft needs to step up and remove the modders so I can play the game That is what I pay for I was thinking about buying a new map pack but it would be worthless. I report
the modders also but don't think it helps I have exited the game do to not having a chance to play and have been kicked for what I have no idea why then I get put in Probation and the modders keep playing once again I PAY TO PLAY if the modders continue I
will stop PAYING and I will keep reporting them and hope that the modders are removed.

 

It's out of control. The game is worthless with all the modding.

Ironically, I got a communications ban for telling a modder to stop f'ing modding. Also got a probation warning for leaving modded games early!

If it continues, I'm cancelling Live. Maybe it's time to check out Play Station?
