Rainbow Six

Definitely going to pick this up day one.

Does it have a release date? I didn't catch it.

 

Wow! This is my sort of game.

 

I cried watching the game play trailer hostage situation.... looks like it'll be an unreal teamwork game.

 

My friend cried too. I giggled at him, as usual.

 

Why'd they show this game? We all know it will be pushed back a few times and finally be released end of 2015-early 2016......but it does look to be fantastic!

 

Now to just find 9 other talkative competent players in a lobby and we might have something.

 

I hope they keep true to Vegas 1 & 2, and don't deploy the current standard FPS lobby. We need admin controlled lobbies. Rainbow games are about teamwork and that involves talking. Also, the ability to kick the whining gamers
and questionable players.

@Bird, if they keep the same lobby format from Rainbows on the 360. I will have no issues filling a 10 man lobby. I was part of a clan that ran(at the height of Vegas 1) 3 teams of six. And most of them still play regularly.
We all have migrate to other shooters, but this will definitely bring the old timers back. Because the majority just went to COD or something because there was no Rainbow.

 

I agree. If it differs too much from RSV1 and 2, I won't be interested. I'll wait for gameplay videos before getting it.

Games don't really have the "Kick" feature anymore. But you're right. The R6 lobbies gave everyone a chance to a least talk. If someone didn't have a mic, they were immediately booted.

Battlefield is the only one I have on X1, with the Rent A Server feature.
It also gets a little stupid with being able to manually balance teams at any point in the match. It is something headed in the right direction, just don't need the inflated cost of renting. Just provide it free or included in a
price hike for the game.

 

Terrorist hunt going to be sick though. Hopefully that mode will make a return.

 

If terrorist Hunt doesn't come back there will be tears.

I like the fact that they brought back the planning phase of R6.

Does anyone else remember the old R6 games where you would set soldier paths, waypoints and Go commands?

That stuff is basically coming back. Just in the form of drones and other observation devices. And to top that, the terrorist team gets to do it now too in MP on the defensive side.

They better not shelve this game like they did with Patriots. I really want to play this.
