RAGE MODE

I always hear about people friends/other gamers breaking controllers other household items, or the console itself haha.

Have you ever broken anything raging at a game?

To come to think of it I personally have never broken a controller and surely not a console, though there had definitely been times I wanted to xD

I just didnt want to waste money >.<

it's funny how people go in rage mode for optional content

 

I used to break controllers back when I was a kid. Now whenever I feel the need, I just flush money down the toilet instead.

 

Only twice. Once was when I was playing Virtua Fighter Kids I smashed my Saturn controller into a million pieces and the other time was after trying the Mile High Club achievement for like 5 hours straight I put my hand through my closet door.

Now I don't get mad a games anymore.

 

Broke a mic and broke down crying on the same day.

I'm sure there was some underlying cause but I can't remember so it's definitely 'rage by game'.

 

"Top Spin 2" used to infuriate me.

I had to line up rolls of toilet paper to destroy so that my 360 didn't end up facing the brunt of my wrath.

But I quickly realised that if a game is making me this angry it's not a game worth having and sacked it to play stuff I actually enjoyed.

 

Nope can't say I have damaged anything out of rage.

back when controllers still had short cords (snes and n64 for me) I didnt actually rage destroy anything but sometimes I would throw my hands up in disbelief and forget Im holding the controller and pull the console out from the desk it was on

 

breaking *** and then crying wtf? XD Are you people 6 years old or what? xd

 

I once broke a few buttons and the battery pack on a 360 controller like 4 years ago. Have no idea what I raged at. After that I vowed to never really rage again and I can say I haven't. If I get too frustrated I just go off the game completely.

 

I've raged hard before and called someone a *** *** *** *** but I have never broken anything out of rage. Nowadays I don't rage. I'll just be like.. aww f*ck crumpet.

 

I have yet to ever break anything but i remember being so mad at the Dead to Rights controls getting me killed on the original XBOX i flung the disk out of my upstairs window...got quite some distance on it to as i found out later when i went to retrieve
it.

 

i rage a few times playing SvM on Blacklist. Never threw my controller. My tolerance drops whem ym teammates are complete morons(why are you over on A when C is being hacked and doing nothing?). Communication with them doesn't help either..

In recent memory, I did throw my controller trying to beat the T-Rex in Turok on the hardest difficulty. I eventually did it but it wasn't worth it.
