This would depend in the context. if no harm was meant there would be no report. But if you get ban for a message then the person you sent a message to has reported you, this could mean that they took offense from said message. hope this helps

You can leave the games and block the people. Insults are personal attacks and Xbox can't monitor each game to make sure it doesn't happen.

Xbox messaging is rated for all ages, regardless of the game being played.

if someone is harassing you or otherwise interfering with normal gameplay you should report them then block them.

often they are trolls who do this to provoke a response that breaks the Xbox Code of Conduct so they can report the victim.

the only way to stop them is to report and block.
