R6 On Series X 120 fps?

Im going to buy a viewsonic vx2758 2k monitor and it performs like a $500 monitor if the fps is locked at 144hz but if it bounces in the hundreds it has some ghosting and other issues? Will the xbox support 144hz 1440p or am I going to have to deal with
it. It would be a cool feature to lock it at 144fps or just 120fps would work fine with it too not as good as 144hz but i could change up some settings and play at 120fps 1440p. Could the series X be locked at 120 fps or 144fps for 1440p resolution?

You won't get 120 fps on that TV, as it's only a 60hz display, 60hz = 60 fps at most

To get up to 120 fps at 4K, you need a TV that supports 120hz and has HDMI 2.1 ports and again your TV only has HDMI 2.0 ports, but most games on the Series X are locked to 60 fps at 4K,

Something like the LG CX is the best TV to get at the moment, and that's a TV that can go 4K at 120hz,

A 60hz display = up to a maximum of 60 fps

A 120hz display = up to a maximum of 120 fps.

Then I suppose Microsoft/xbox should bill that into their marketing of the series x or state the game is not compatible if the xbox can't handle the game at 120 fps.
