R6 keeps crashing on start up screen!

Im on the Xbox one S, I have a digital version of the game and Ive tried solutions of 1. Restarting 2. Uninstall and Reinstall 3. Unplugging for a minute then replugging for a minute 4. Disconnecting wif 5. Clear my cache or saved data 6. Clearing blue ray 7. Clearing Altenate Mac address 8. Checked for xbox and game updates, good luck solving my issue, my other games run fine.

This happened to me with Titanfall 2 at one point. I had to perform what’s called a soft reset on my Xbox One.

The difference between this and a factory reset? It solves the problem without nuking all of your games and files, only taking out what’s bad or corrupted. After this, never had problems again.

People often call power cycling a “soft reset”, but that isn’t what I mean.

I mean an actual reset, where corrupted files and other non-game data are obliterated.





The first option, which is highlighted in purple, is a factory reset. Don’t click this one if you don’t want to spend hours redownloading your games.

The second option is what you want. It allows you to preserve your game files while deleting every corrupted file... and consequently the source of this problem.

You may have to set the console up again from the start (as I haven’t had to do this in over a year and can’t really remember), and that includes your account information, so make sure you remember your passwords and usernames. All of your games will be safe from deletion and should be completely operable after the setup is complete. Your local saves should be restored from Xbox Live like mine were.

More likely than not, you may have shut down the game during a save point. This can lead to corrupted data without any immediate effect, and keeps the game from running on second launch.

It’s possible that the local save for the game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.
First, delete the local save:
1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
2. Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
3. Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
4. Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
1. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller.
2. Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.
After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to Xbox Live.
Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

yea ive tried all of this aswell mine still constantly crashs after the first round of every match it looks like im rage quitting i havnt been able to play ranked all season due to the crashing

Hey man. I’m having the exact same issue with Siege. It’s extremely frustrating. At first I thought it was the disc and went ahead to buy a digitial version of the game, still crashes regularly. I have reinstalled the game a total of 3 different times now
and still am left with the same issue. I have deleted all my profiles on my xbox and signed back into one. I have cleared my saved data multiple times, I do it every time I try and play the game now and SOMETIMES I can go 1, 2, MAYBE 3 games, but 3 games max,
without it crashing. Otherwise I’m left with the game freezing, hearing a loud buzzing sound for a good 4-5 seconds and then the game crashing entirely back to the main menu. This only happens with Siege. None of my

other games ever crash. At least I know I’m not alone now it’s been difficult to find any kind of solution or even any other people with this problem.

Ubisoft support, the game is crashing or freezing due to a corrupt save file. You may want to follow 'How do I delete saves I don't want' in this

article. Have you tried using the Delete everywhere option? Please note that your Situations progress and Loudouts settings
for your Operators will reset. I will also recommend trying to clear your Xbox one cache

here.
