I have noticed a lot lately, whilst playing, a lot of other player lag, ie, you have "sights on" your target, next thing they are doing michael jackson moonwalk and moving thirty feet away (real distance probably 6-7 inches on 50" tv. Now i have heard of
lag switches and viva pack hack, but are these just excuses for me being even worse than i already am, also found recently, that the after report is very wrong, also sometimes when up against high level prestige players they stay for a game then come out of
it at the end is this also people hacking/ modding the game with computer aid? Any ideas/ thoughts would be much appreciated.

 

I'm watching this on a smart phone and can't tell how he is cheating.

Taking advantage of a glitch to boost him game stats: cheating.

A few mates and I have pieced together how he has done the glitch after watching every game we've played with him.. He gets under the map where nobody can shoot him so he can't die.

Thanks! Although, the way I see it, if nothing is done about it after given proof, then there's something for all cheaters to dispute..

There was a glitch on the same map where a pilot could get inside one of the upper levels of a building that shouldn't be accessible, then once inside they could fire out but couldn't be shot. Thankfully that was fixed a while ago, but from your video it
definitely looks like there's a similar glitch for getting under the map.

 

That's frustrating for sure but I don't know that I would call him a "cheater." It's a glitch in the game he and many others have exploited.

Anyway, I'd report it to Respawn, per Sigma's suggestion, so they can get moving on a fix, if they haven't already.

 

"Glitching is an activity in which a person finds and exploits flaws or glitches in video games to achieve something that was not intended by the game designers." - so yes, I would call him a cheater, considering he is taking advantage of a software error
in order to improve his gaming stats, instead of doing it like a proper player. Therefore, he deserves a console ban. As does anybody else that decides its ok to use a glitch to gain unfair advantage.

As for reporting it, I will be doing that shortly.. I even messaged the XBLET and reported him.

 

I wish more gamers reported cheating, like yourself.

But, in this case I highly doubt any discipline we be will be given.

To play devils advocate he could just say it wasn't done on purpose; its the games fault.

 

I'm not saying what he did was okay. It's kind of like "unethical" vs "illegal." I think what he's doing is unethical but I agree with panama400 in that I doubt any sort of ban would happen. It's within the capabilities of the game as presented to us by
Respawn, at this point in time, without any modding of code or hardware on his part.

I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong we just happen to have differing opinions on what constitutes cheating. What he is doing IS wrong, though.

 

I think district opinion is well stated.

For fun lets look at a console ban as the "death penalty."

I do think random cheated(and unethical) but doesn't rise to the degree of receiving the "death penalty."

I did not read the Xbox live rules, but bet it states something like "cheating can result in console band."

And if that's not the case it would depend on there definition and interpretation of cheating( and its probably loosely defined).

Probably got to be pretty bad when MS won't take someone's money.

And I don't believe anyone who say's they were banned for nothing, because I have ran into some real "trash."
