HyruleBalverine is correct on this one.

Bottom line. The early adopters like us knew exactly what we purchasing, how much we were spending, and that there could and would be sales on the item down the road. To my knowledge every single game console made has gone down in price after release. The
original Xbox did, and the 360 did. It may have been longer for some systems, but regardless the point stands.

MS does not owe us compensation. We chose to buy the system when it released, and spent the release price doing so. There is nothing else to be said.

I paid full price and have bought games afterwards, and I am not in the slightest upset about the Titanfall Bundle being $450. Its the way of life.

  2. And when in your history of gaming did you have to get multiple updates to correct problems that should have been non-existent, i see many of you seem to be brainwashed into thinking " oh this is just business that's just the way it is" mentality maybe
but its "bad" business to release something that clearly not ready use your customers as beta testers and make promises you don't keep. 1080p 3D and Audio/headphones are the bigger issues for me personally and then there are issues no reasonable person would
have predicted like not being able to stream or use your own music without paying for a subscription to use your own music.. so like the kid in another post said "Its like they are giving us the middle finger". and i agree. i still have the option of returning
it if i wanted too but it isnt myself i am thinking of in this forum.. i am more curious as to what Microsoft is going to do for these people before i go out and buy another console for a family member.

I don't know if my opinion on Graphics has gone down over the years, so me commenting on 1080P would not be a valid argument with you. Not going to lie on that one. I'm from the Original Xbox/Gamecube/N64 days so I guess I was always use to sub par graphics
(Not 1080P). I'll leave that argument to someone else.

Headsets. All though I don't really use headsets anymore (Stopped towards the launch of the One), I do agree that more headsets should have been available at launch. However it is my understanding that the Headset developers were not aware that the headset
plug on the One's controller was different, and that is why there was a delay.

Finally, as far as updates go. Yes, Original Xbox did not really have that many. However, the original Xbox therefore did not change as much as the 360/One did. These updates are for the most part good because they add new features and make the system a
better experience. Compare the 360 from 2005 to the 360 now in 2014. Major difference.

Yes, the One had a few issues at launch (and still does have a few), but then again I have seen issues with consoles at launch for quite some time. Most of the issues are fixed except a few of them. I understand what you are saying Vitreous but I have to
say I have been enjoying this system since I purchased it.

  5. just shipped my system back at 12:00 to day and I had to pay 14.99$ plus tax 15.89 to fed ex to pack the item. I called xbox waited on hold for 36 mins and told them what happened and they said that its a fed ex problem not a Microsoft problem the guy was
nice about it though. finger pointing from a multi billon dollar company? why not try to fix my concern?. I don't make stuff up man. I just want answers for this diabolical service system.

you miss the point Mistress Sara i could easily box everything up make the trip back to the store and exchange it i am well within the 30 days and i purchased it at Walmart so i dont even need a reason under their return policy... in fact Forbes just announced
the Titanfall Bundle is now at Walmart for 450.00 USD that is a full 110.00 dollar difference in a the short time ive had this, but why should i? what complete waste of time and money and bad feelings for everyone involved...

I do get you're point Vitreous. It's a person's choice if/when they purchase a console (or any technology). It's a person's choice what they do with the item after purchase. If a person is within the 30 days exchange policy of a store, then it is their right
to exercise their option to take the item back and exchange it if they like. Some stores will give a refund of the difference if an item goes down in price within a certain time frame of purchase, no questions asked.

If you are within that policy time at the store you purchased the console at, you would be crazy not go back there to get the refund of the price difference. That difference is close to the price of 2 games for 30-60 minutes of time it will take to get back
to the store. Well worth it if you ask me.

I was merely letting you know that this is the support area of the forums. The people in the Support area aren't going to be able to offer you anything for having paid full price for the system, other than what has already been said.

If you want your issues/grievances to be read by people that can do something, the Feedback section of the forums is the best place for posts about this topic.
