Its real simple micrsoft Got my lame day 1 edition XBOX ONE Nov 22 now lowering price giving Titanfall free???? Get a clue!!! fix it now or a bunch of people including myself will take back our consoles as soon as price drops "repurchase" XBOX making money
for other items or buy a PS4... Fire the person who thought this was smart

Sorry to hear you're upset, but you won't be receiving any additional compensation for being an early adopter. You got special perks for being a n early adopter day one. In any industry when a product is released, the later iterations will invariably be
at a lower cost. That was always Microsoft's plan just as it is Sony's plan to lower their price with time. It's also why games drop in price after a couple of months and a car model is cheaper six months after initial sale date. I'd suggest in the future
if you don't want to pay the price of early ownership, you wait a few months.

 

and what of those that bought a unit a few weeks ago turned it on set everything up and then found out of the price drop and bundle?..... its not like the Titanfall bundle is sitting on shelves at Walmart where you would know before you purchased the regular
one at full price... you wonder why people are *** thats pretty much why i am right there....

As Rajesh from IT said, that is the price of purchasing any technology. Bundles and deals always change and prices go down.

you miss the point Mistress Sara i could easily box everything up make the trip back to the store and exchange it i am well within the 30 days and i purchased it at Walmart so i dont even need a reason under their return policy... in fact Forbes just announced
the Titanfall Bundle is now at Walmart for 450.00 USD that is a full 110.00 dollar difference in a the short time ive had this, but why should i? what complete waste of time and money and bad feelings for everyone involved...

 

I do get you're point Vitreous. It's a person's choice if/when they purchase a console (or any technology). It's a person's choice what they do with the item after purchase. If a person is within the 30 days exchange policy of a store, then it is their right
to exercise their option to take the item back and exchange it if they like. Some stores will give a refund of the difference if an item goes down in price within a certain time frame of purchase, no questions asked.

If you are within that policy time at the store you purchased the console at, you would be crazy not go back there to get the refund of the price difference. That difference is close to the price of 2 games for 30-60 minutes of time it will take to get back
to the store. Well worth it if you ask me.

I was merely letting you know that this is the support area of the forums. The people in the Support area aren't going to be able to offer you anything for having paid full price for the system, other than what has already been said.

If you want your issues/grievances to be read by people that can do something, the Feedback section of the forums is the best place for posts about this topic.

What were the Day 1 perks by the way? Oh yea, 6 letters and 4 numbers on the face of my controller, silly me.

 

You knew exactly what you were getting when you purchased your console. And unless you are younger than 8 years old, you have seen at least one previous generation of consoles go down in price or have bundles released after launch, so you knew that this
would happen eventually.

Let me ask you this: Sony's PlayStation 4 is going UP in price in some areas right now. Do you feel that the people that purchased the PS4 on day one now owe Sony the price difference? If your answer to this is "no" then I think that you need to rethink
your belief that Microsoft owes you something for their price drop.

It was pretty obvious there would be a price drop at some point the difference to what i paid is £30 as i got the fifa 14 bundle,would i have rather waited 4 more months for titanfall for free and £30 off? not at all i have had 4 months of enjoyment out
of the console.

If your not happy with your choice and as stated you are within the 30 days return take it back and get the bundle you want easy really.
