Quitting Xbox After 10+ Years.

I have supported Microsoft and Xbox since the release of the Xbox 360 and have always been a gamer on your console. I am now forced to quit gaming after having plans to go professional and just get straight up robbed by Microsoft for a good two thousand
dollars in games and content, I spend money almost weekly on Xbox to get permanently suspended for literally responding to a trash talker. I appeal the suspension and I'm treated like a child who knows nothing. Xbox support recommended I make a post here to
actually speak with someone. How can a company just take your money and kick you off without helping any actual issues. There's people DDoS attacking in public matches but you send a message back to a person, they report for whatever and get to laugh because
Xbox bans everyone.

I Was hoping to actually speak with someone when I appealed and we just skipped all the steps and I got told I'm staying banned. Awesome services, I've never been so upset or felt so stupid! Just got a new headset and chair and everything and now I don't
even feel like touching a console again. I hope you enjoy the money that I worked hard for, Thanks Xbox.

After 10+ years...

The slang meaning was introduced in a South Park episode in 2000. I've been using this gamertag (long before Xbox live) since 1989. It is a coding acronym that far predates Matt and Trey's inclusion into pop culture. Microsoft using South Park to base
their policing policies is bordering on idiotic.

This is the only place where you can get a response from somebody from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team.

 

Retaliating is a breach of the Code of Conduct and subject to enforcement acts so it doesn't really matter who started it. That guy that was harassing you first, probably did it only so you can say something abusive and he'll be able to report you. But
in all probability he did get the same suspension as the enforcement team looks on both ways of the story.

Next time don't say anything, report and block. How hard is that?

Retaliating is NOT a breach of the ToU/CoC,will you stop posting misinformation.

It's how you retaliate that can get you into trouble.

Anyway,the enforcement team do not use the forums,the only way to contact them is via a case review.If you have done that & the decision was upheld then there's nothing else you can do.

If your account is permanently banned then you forfeit all digital content,remaining live time etc. which is something you agreed to when you started your account by agreeing to the ToU/CoC

Nope it doesn't matter you don't seem to understand the actual issue

It doesn't matter if you respond how you conduct yourself you are liable for all your actions regardless of what led to itit this does include abusive and harassing manner

And perm suspensions are not given lightly nor would it be for one offence but multiple offences this includes multiple msgs

Regardless of console or system like pc or Sony you must conduct yourself in a rated e for everyone manner

And FYI no one can detect a ddosddos on xbox

You should educate yourself instead.of relying on misinformation

One a ddos goes thru the internet not a private network so detection isn't Xbox's job since it isn't going their network as the ports aren't used by a ddos

Hence why certain ports have to be opened for Xbox live for it to work thru a firewall

Ddos originates from the internet

That job is actually your isps

And how they setup their firewalls and your own on your router
