Quitting the game problem

When I go to the options screen and choose to 'Quit game' a black screen appears with loading bar and the Watch Dog 'insignia' but bar only reaches a 1/4 and stays there. Anyone get this and how do i rectify it without pulling the main power plug on the
console?

Odd. You're going to need to have words with 343 Industries regarding this since it's a game specific ban.

 

I am having this problem as well. I have let is set for more then 10 minutes with no luck. I have to hit the xbox button to get back on home screen then I can exit the game from there

 

I played for a little bit last night. Now I can't get the game to load when I log into the Ubisoft server.

 

@StiltonPie & n99cent - try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. See if that helps.

@chewbacca 88 - the Ubisoft servers are down right now but they are working on it.

Ive got this same problem today and glad to see that im not alone. I quit the game and it fills a bit and then just says loading so I have to go back to dashboard and quit it friom there. This dint happen yesterday morning when I was playing the game.

 

Doing a system reboot including plugging the power cable does not fix this problem. I have noticed that it does not do it every time either. Out of 10 times of trying to exit, it was successful 2 out of 10 times. I know Ubisoft is or was having server problems
so I'm wondering if it is trying to connect to the servers at that time ion the kidding process and that is what is causing it to hang up.

 

I can't edit the miss typed words cause of my phones auto complete in my post above. For some reason I am only getting the "flag spam" option

 

I had the same problem...unfortunately I had to reset my system twice. Then after that I didn't have any problems...

 

I have also had the same problem and have left it on the load screen for over an hour and still no progress. This is second time it's happened to me and it's frustrating because the last time it happened I lost all my save progress and had to start again.
Hopefully will be sorted soon because it's affecting the enjoyment I'm having.

I haven't actually been quitting to the main menu. I just go to an atm to get an auto save, then just go back to the X1 home screen and turn the console off. As soon as i start the game it goes straight back to where i left off without having to load.

 

Is anyome having this issue and is not on the preview update ? I'm wondering if its a game issue or a preview update bug ?

 

This issue has happened to me also, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't, it seems to be hit or miss
