Quitting digital version of Fallout 4 causes internet to lag

So this is a bizarre issues I'm having. But I've noticed that after playing the digital version of Fallout 4 and quitting it, it causes my internet to lag for about 10 mins or so. I've tested several scenarios out. Playing and quitting DISC games doesn't
cause this behavior, nor does other digital games, just Fallout 4 digital version, which is crazy because its not exactly an online game obviously.

What I mean by lag is upon quitting the game, EVERYTHING thats connected to the internet in my house lags, I try to go on websites with my lap top and its really slow. If I try to go to an app like Hulu directly after quitting that game it fails to open
the app because the internet is lagging too much to open it. After about 10 mins or less everything goes back to normal. Just don't understand why its only that game and why it does it AFTER I quit the game. For the record I have no problem while I'm playing
the game or even pausing it when I'm doing other things that use internet such as checking something on my lap top, etc. Anyone else having this problem?

My Fallout 3 code disappeared.

Where was the Fallout 3 code originally? Did you pre-order the digital version or physical disc version of Fallout 4?

@ STURIO 2. Do you own a digital version of Fallout 4 or disc ?

 

The only thing that I can think of is that the game is trying to sync saves to the cloud. Do you have a lot of save files? To put it into perspective, it took me an hour and a half to sync my Fallout 4 when moving to a new Xbox One.
